CAM on Fusion 360 is really solid for milling operation, I don't know for router toolpath on fusion 360, at least it's basiclly the same. But from my learning curve on my DIY CNC Router when long run running multi hours of jobs, mistake is so far (if you doing CAM correctly, I'm using Aspire) happen mostly on controller fault it self or event on mechanical machine fault. At that time I'm learning to upgrade my controller to more stable one, at least like industrial grade router controller, and also make my machine more precision, rigid and heavy duty, to eliminate any possible of mechanical fault.

That interesting. I hadn’t considered upgrading my controller but I might consider that. Also I think having quality stepper motors help to not skip steps and throw things off. Feel free to share if you’ve got other stuff. I’m fairly new with CNC and all of this helps
