my jumpers have never gotten out, but my SCORPION has. the recovery was exactly the same. Hour later i caught him just casually scaling one of the walls in my room . ;)

my jumping spider instar 4 escaped through what I think through one of her vent holes in her enclosure---2 weeks later almost, I saw a flash of her while I was closing my window blind!!! Safe inside her baby enclosure! she looks okay!

It's now 03.35 and two days ago I got my Phidippus Ardens female. And she escaped last night but in the morning my parents not knowing she had escaped just turned de light on and later in the mornig when I was awake and went down to her enclosure she sat on the roof of the terrarium and looking at me. Yesterday I thought I spidersafed the terrarium but, now I think she's gone again. Im crying my eyes out. Just hoping she will return to the warmth of the light😭😭😭 05.10 Finally I found her, safe and sound in her hammock just against the terrariumdoor. That little sneaker

i watched this video yesterday while crying and thinking my spood was gone for good and bc of this video i got my extra grow lights out and turned them on and the next day i found my spider on the grow lights!!!

My jumping spider went missing! She has been gone for awhile now! I'm heartbroken! I even found a baby jumping spider in another container that was supposed to be empty! But it was dead in there! With a little web! I'm heartbroken about that to! The breeder who gave me the jumping spider lied to me about her going into molting! My jumping spider just vanished!

My pet phidippus regius spider ran away in my room its in my room somewhere and in Caint find it.. It's in my room.... I have his house i made him a little house... With his webs and put it where he was i miss him he's Lost in my room...... What can I do now... Should i wait....

I recently lost my spider like 2 days ago. And I'm seriously freaking out. I haven't found her yet. I keep looking up...and nothing. I've LOOKED everywhere, would it be possible that she could escape the room she's in??? Gahhh this is stressing me out so bad

Unlikely but possible, yes. They usually do turn up eventually. I'm sorry she got out though and that you're stressed. It's the worst 🖤

Hi Heather, This video helped me find my missing Hyllus diardi! I knew to look up, but never saw her. After watching this video over the weekend, I started looking at my window that was closest to her enclosure. Today, I went to close the blinds and as they "flipped"" i saw her! She was so emaciated/dehydrated; thankfully she let me catch her. I put her in a smaller enclosure where I can monitor her better until I know she is eating (and how she got out!). She drank a lot and her abdomen expanded some, but it is still too thin. I offered her a wax worm and a meal worm but she ignored both. All I have left are blue bottle pupae so I put some in her enclosure hoping they hatch soon. If you have other ideas, let me know. I lost her 3 weeks ago and I am so happy she is home!

Awww... I'm so glad this was helpful. As long as she took water, she'll be ok w/o food until she decides she's ready. You could try cutting open a waxworm and putting it in front of her. You might also try a little piece of watermelon. That would still just basically be moisture but there are a few calories in that

She looks so much better; still a little on the thin side but no longer starving or emaciated looking (when I went to catch her I almost started crying, she was so thin). She is significantly smaller than her sister who has been eating lots and molted while Atalanta was busy running her foot race (yeah, I need to choose my spider names more carefully) but they will no longer be living together so I think we will all adapt. I am so grateful she is home and safe and no longer starving! Thank you!

I had my female Audax Wednesday on my bed in her enclosure. I opened it and was trying to get her to jump on my hand. It's a tall enclosure I have to stick a lot of my arm in there. Well she wouldn't but then I saw where she had molted like a week ago prior to that. In a tight web hammock. So I was getting it out because I wanted to see her molt. And I get it and I'm taking pics of it. And either she got out while I was getting her molt out. Or while I was trying to take it out of the webbing or when I was taking pics. But she was gone. I had thought that she might still be in her enclosure. Cause she is good at hiding. But after not seeing her all day for 2 days. I took the whole enclosure apart. Piece by piece.(I was going to switch to a different enclosure anyways.) And she was definitely not in her enclosure. My problem is happened in my bedroom. I have 3 cats who currently live in my bedroom. (LONG STORY NOT MY CHOICE. SO NO JUDGEMENT) and my room isn't very tidy. I do have some clothes on my floor. I'm afraid that I will step on her or cats will eat her.(if those things haven't already happened.) Also I have a very heavy king size bed barely fits in my bedroom. And it's the kind that can sit up( it it's broken so it doesn't) I'm worried she could be under the bed and I would never be able to find her. I can't fit under the bed too low. 😭😭😭 So I have basically screwed myself over. I think about her constantly. It's been like a week now.

just found my jumping spider on my window I hadn't seen him for a few days but I didn't want to move around the decor because he stops moving when he gets scared (does anyone else's jumping spider do this?) but I finally found him after I randomly looked at the window and put him back but now I have to find something to block the hole in his enclosure(his enclosure is what used to be a one gallon fish tank and where the filter was it had a hole in the lid built for it)

I just bought a phidippus jonsoni yesterday(NOT CHEAP) and accidentally left her cup open and I can’t find her ANYWHERE and I’m absolutely freaking out!! Not to mention I have cats😭
