For the most part I didn't take notes while learning Korean (for me personally it was too much of a time waste and not enough added benefit), but every once in a while I would be inspired to write some things down in a notebook or even on random pieces of paper. Despite the fact that I never look back at those notes for review purposes, I can never bear to throw them away because it's so nostalgic to see my Korean handwriting/level from years past.

I've found that when it comes to reading books, it's definitely more efficient for me to jot some notes in the book rather than making a separate notebook, which I've made the mistake of doing several times. But for textbook-style lessons, even if I don't study them much later, I get some satisfaction from the act of making vocab and grammar notes. I feel you on the nostalgia- I don't have many samples of my earlier writing and I wish I'd kept some beginner notes just to compare with where I am now.

And what about the one that’s called “ talk to me in Korean 100 day study Journal”
@veronicainkorea2 жыл бұрын
That journal was a limited product so it's not for sale on the TTMIK website anymore, but I bought it at Kyobo Bookstore in Korea so they might still have it for sale online. I also made a video about how to make your own study journal/tracker! It's the first video linked in the description, so hope it helps you ^-^

I use video or audio lessons more and the only text resource I use is very bulky and just too much detailed so that's why I make notes and if I need to revise anything I never go to my resources I always revise my notes📚

What’s the vocab notebook called?

It's a cornell notes style notebook! I just picked out a cheap one from my local stationery shop.

Where can I get the notebook with the duck
@veronicainkorea2 жыл бұрын
Hi! The duck character is called "Tube" and he's a character from Kakao Friends. I bought this notebook a few years ago at a Korean stationery shop called Hottracks. I'm not sure if this exact notebook is still available, but you can check the Hottracks website or other shopping sites like Coupang for "카카오프렌즈 인덱스 노트" and hopefully find something similar~!
