Fully 50% of my brain cells are formed from Polish sausage. Absolutely love it, especially scrambled with eggs in the morning or braised with sauerkraut and potatoes.

This might sound weird but I usually have spicy okra (hot sauce + a little mustard and lawry’s) instead of potatoes with the polish sausage and kraut. It’s super good, I recommend it highly.

Just a disclaimer😂 this sausage is not handed out on the way home from the wedding😂😂😂😅 there is so much food at the Polish wedding that it is not needed. But there is a tradition in more traditional wedding houses to put in there something called "Village table" during the wedding, and there are some traditional specialities like homemade sausage ,bread, salted cucumbers, pork and others. It vary from hausehold to haushold, for example my dad is a beekeeper so we brought also honey and honey based alkohols as well as some homemade drinks. I am Polish ,trust me on this 😅 no sausage handed out in the doors as people leave the wedding 🎉😅😊

It could be that this particular family was handing out food in order that they wouldn't have tons of leftovers to manage. In my family, everybody brings food to gatherings, so everybody must leave with food---and clean up and wash dishes for the hostess before they go. Otherwise she would be left alone with a disaster scene and too much food to fit in the fridge. Granted, weddings are usually different, but the food issue might still be a problem.

New to your channel but love it. My husband lived in Korea, first as an Army brat, then as an enlisted man. He introduced me to Korean food and it still ranks at the top, just slightly behind my Southern cooking. There are a lot of similarities between the two cuisines. And your parents are absolutely darling , him with his "bussing" and her with her "fiyah". Adorable.
