Honestly, not much makes me happier these days than when I see your father absolutely chowing down on a meal in his care-free absolutely joyous manner. I didn’t go to Olive Garden for years because there was nothing on the menu that I really liked….until about three tears ago when I visited my son and his family in Spokane and he suggested we go there for dinner, and then proceeded to tell me that his co-workers told him the restaurant had been renovated and the menu updated, and included one of our favorite foods, eggplant! So we went, and I loved it! The eggplant was fabulous! And of course any leftovers would have made a great sandwich! 😊

Go once more and you'll rethink that choice yet again. Italian food from Italy is 1,000 times better than Olive Garden! No comparison. I'm glad these delightful folks enjoyed it to whatever degree they did, but OG is never going to be anywhere near the quality of real Italian food eaten in Italy!

@julienicolay Yes, of course food from Italy is better a thousand times over. I couldn't get enough of the fresh tomatoes. I'm lactose intolerant but had no issues with the cheese or gelato while there. U.S. allows our ingredients yo contain all sorts of unhealthy stuff. My comment was more on the side this family made Olive Garden seem very enjoyable

My Indian parents loved Olive garden before the quality went down.
