i feel like the pop-punk genre can only really be executed well by specific artists. whenever its pop punk in kpop its always the same few chords and guitar sounds, the tones always sound the same and they do too much nasally screaming. there's never something different and it just seems like yelling over a random garageband rock kit. maybe if they played around with different types of riffs and vocal parts and screamed less it would be okay. and if they stop rapping... like pop punk and rap personally isn't gonna do it for me

For O.O it’s just JYP attempting to copy SM’s homework as per usual but failed because it’s JYP. for gidle idk ngl I used to like the group but not Stan but now they piss me off a little lol.
