One lesson I was taught by my instructor very early on, never rush when the light turns green. Because there will be someone breaking the lights and you’ll be in trouble. So, guys never rush when the light turns green, check your surroundings before you go even if your light is green.

This is very true. My work building is on the corner of a busy 4 way intersection on a main road. I’ve seen MANY accidents over the years of people flying thru red lights and colliding with the people whos light just turned green. I always look both ways before I start to accelerate, impatient fools will beep the second the light turns green. But my life and my car can wait an extra two seconds, it’s saved my ass a couple of times now. I also have a dash cam always recording now. I’ve twice been able to give police footage of accidents over the past 3 years.

From my motorcycle riding experience, I NEVER like being 1st at a green light. I have learned to be hyper aware and delay the green by a few seconds because of idiots like that woman speeding and running a clear red light. I can guarantee you the guy who was driving the lambo will give a 5 count before he makes any left turn on a green arrow from now on. Sucks, guys. Feel your pain! #STONO

The same thing happened in Singapore about 10 years ago, but this time round it was a Ferrari 599 GTO running a red light at approximately 178km/h. Smashed right into the passenger side of a taxi which was the first car off the line, killing both occupants of the taxi and the Ferrari driver. Luckily the Ferrari passenger survived. People should always wait 3 to 5 seconds before moving off the line. A 2 second delay would have saved 3 lives that day.

After seeing the footage I’d be a little upset with the employee in the STO, yes the lady clearly ran the red light but he should’ve looked before leaving the line so quickly in the STO. That was actually a question on one of my drivers Ed class tests about going as soon as the light turns or light turns green and making sure no one is coming and then proceeding and he clearly did the former and it’s going to cost dearly because my bet is next follow up video will be that she doesn’t carry enough insurance coverage to handle the repairs to the STO (carbon clamshell is probably $50k if not more?), depreciated value as a result of the accident, and loss of rental revenue while it’s out of commission..... that is assuming it’s not a total loss completely in which case good luck having her insurance company write a $500k + check for a new STO 🤦🏻‍♂️😬

Never trust traffic lights. Never assume people will obey or pay attention. I think it’s partly his fault for not looking really. I think he would be able to see the other car coming at speed. I see this too often in American dash am videos. Light turns green people take off without looking. Also this car is more like over $500k.

And what do you think that costs? Not even talking about possile frame damage? This isn't a Civic where you can buy replacement parts everywhere. High end cars get totaled faster cause of the high price of the vehicle and the high prices to fix the car. The damage can be over 100k without breaking a sweat.

The front end is all one giant clamshell. It’s 100% carbon fiber and to replace the part is very expensive but it takes away from rental time. Insurance has to cover the cost of downtime of the car which is very expensive on a car like that. So a combination of expensive and hard parts to get and coverage of rental time lost, it would possible for it to be totaled.

She ran a red light but never slowed down, personally I always make sure all traffic is fully stationary before pulling out especially at the front. Probably poor visibility for the lambo driver and of course you’d expect anyone to stop for a red, glad everyone is okay. Shame to see another STO go, must be very frustrating
