Thanks for watching! Glad you’re going to be getting back into it. I pre-rigged the lighting. It’s simple LED’s I sourced from Amazon. Then I soldered them all together to an AC Adapter plug.

Hey thanks for watching and for your question! The grout color can be any light, neutral color. It does not have to be a specific color, as long as its very light. For example, you can use a 'light tan', 'light sand', 'white sand', 'light gray', or even just 'white'. Remember, you can always tint or paint the grout too.

Thanks for watching!! Its simple LED lights i sourced from Amazon. I soldered them together and pugged them into an ac adapter. I added the components to the mateials list in the video description.

Always a pleasure to watch you work. I'm curious why you applied the texture after attaching those 3-D printed pieces. Would it have been possible to texture the piece first so you didn't have to texture around them? Or is it an issue of not being able to adhere the pieces to the foam board after texturing? Thanks.

Thanks again, Erik! Its more of the latter. I considered what would be more difficult = apply texture around the pipes, or trying to glue the pipes over the texture. I determined it would be easier to simply lay the texture around the already installed pipes. And this also, potentially, provided a more realistic look... as if the 'stucco' texture was applied to the wall after the pipes were installed.

Excellent video buddy! What brands do you use for the pigments when you use that mod podge/tile grout? Also, if i wanna make tatooine style diorama, would it be good to mix some sand coloured pigment to mod podge?

Thanks!! The Mod Podge and tile grout mix actually doesn't contain any other pigments. Typically i just go to the hardware store and find a sand or bone-colored tile grout, then mix it with the Mod Podge. Those are the same colors I would use for a Tatooine diorama.

Thanks for watching!!! If its the Hobo-Luke version then I would go for a mossy-rock dio (light, green moss over grey rocks surface). If its the Crait version, I would defintiely try the "salt over Red Sands" surface. That would provide a great visual contrast.
