My largest rework ! Lloyd's Titan Mech Rework Episode 5

Hello Moc Brigaders! see you later on the premier...happens to be a really long video means i have time to chat haha. I used both the Titan Mech Set 70676 and the legacy set Golden Dragon 70666 as the base for this build. Added plenty of parts to it and reworked the structure of the mech. I approached this build like a gundam model so its maxed out on as much details as i possibly could. But don't expect it to go pose crazy haha.

I wouldn't call this as "Rework", as it is so original and so full with details... it is insane! I can't imagine the time you put into it to design and build, and how heavy the final model would be. What I love so much about your builds is that they all feel so authentically "Lego." Never any illegal connections or parts that make you go "hmmm idk," but still lots of incredibly clever and new techniques all the time. You build what I imagine an official Lego designer would build if they weren't always so hindered by budgetary limits

Didn't want my comment lost in live chat...lol. Busy place... I don't own this kit so I'm not sure what all is original vs. your rework but I love the use of the double ball joints at the knees for a larger mech vs. the "not so cheap to buy by themselves" big round ratcheting technic joints most used in bigger mechs. Also loving that sword blade. Staggering those 90° clips like that and then using plates to tie the two faces together... Brilliant. A lot could be said for your mech frame and plating designs but your weaponry is top notch as well. As I mentioned before I don't like to copy per-se someone else's work but I've walked away from this one with at least a half dozen new tricks up my sleeves, so thanks for sharing man!

I see. Have you done a rework of Zanes ice mech? The chest and armor shapes are fairly unique and maybe you could play into that by building a more solid upper torso, though it may sacrifice style points without hinges

I tried the little bluedragon build for my son, added 2 2X2plates and 2 3x1 plate to do a full use of all the pieces, really nice for a top part and shield, the lil one a years old did a railgun to snatch on the back side of the hand, brainiac! lol!

This design is just so clean and perfect.....I really loved it!!! Why hasn't lego contacted you yet is beyond my comprehension...I mean, even if a set like this beautiful mech would be a bit expensive for the mass market.....if they can launch the death star set (and people buy it)...they can launch this mech....if they can launch the razor crest, the ghostbusters headquarters (a dream set for me...), or a new millenium falcon once in a while (and people buy it)...THEY CAN LAUNCH A SET LIKE THIS!!!
