You should try catching some salmon this year, will be cool to see the big fish and what bait they are attracted to.

And you don't need fly fishing gear, just have to get prepared properly

Do you eat them

I don't have a direct answer for this one. I shoot carp for eating from mid May to first week of June in the river and I aim for smaller ones. They have lots of bones but they are delicious. This is my late season bowfishing spot. Carps are quite big here and they go to my backyard garden as fertilizer. This location is surrounded by agricultural land and based on Ontario government fish consumption guide, they are not suitable to eat. www.ontario.ca/environment-and-energy/sport-fish-consumption-advisory?id=44107931

Hi brother, I am Kazi Hasan from Toronto. I love your video. I am also a youtuber like you. Can I make some fishing and hunting video along with you? I am also a software engineer like you. Longtime you are not uploading any video in this channel. I learned many thing from your videos. Waiting for your response. Thanks.

Hi, I was wondering if you know any good bass fishing spots in the GTA(Greater Toronto area), I am practically new to fishing and I was wanting to go and try to catch some bass.
@TasteofCanadianOutdoors5 жыл бұрын
It depends on if you want to eat or just catch and release. Center island and Ontario place are great spots for bass. If you want to eat the bass, the best place that I know is lake simcoe.

Crow is the only thing I shoot and goes to garbage and I only shoot them if the farm owner asks for that when I hunt for something else on their property. This specific carp went to a guy who was fishing right under the highway and he asked for it. Generally the carps that I shoot in Canal, become fertilizer in my backyard and I don't even try eating them. Look at the Ontario fish consumption guide for Holland Marsh Canal and you see why. Summary is when I shoot them in the river, up to 2-3 pounds they are good to eat, larger than that goes to my garden as fertilizer.
