Hi Tania, Oh how sad it is to see the state of the road infrastructure where you were, It has lots of upcoming housing scheme with those unfinished roads. I just hope the Infrastructure ministry can do better when it comes to housing scheme roads.

Good evening, I can feel/ hear the love in your voice for Guyana and it's people. That's not expensive at all for a night .. its much cheaper that in the USA or Canada . I'm glad that you actually acknowledged how inexpensive your trip was since you were on a low budget That will also inspire others that a little bit goes a long way.. Glad that you are interested in returning to Guyana and hopefully longer the next time so that you can have the privilege to visit other regions in Guyana. I am happy you enjoyed your stay in Guyana. I myself will be visiting my beautiful country of Guyana next year. I Lived in the country side of North Carolina and some of the roads are like that with pot holes. The place you stayed is very cheap much cheaper than some in America. Stay blessed 🙌

Just wonderful seeing all the GT responses to Tania's visit. Now I feel jealous since when I visited I did not do any videos. 😓 But it's hard to imagine any Yardie visiting GT without falling in love with the place. It's so markedly different! So much to see, and the people are so friendly-- especially when they find out you're Yardie! I have always thought that Guyanese and Jamaicans bond more easily than any other Caribbeans, and my visits confirmed that even more. Bless up, Tania, and let's see which of us will get back to GT the faster. LOL. --Æ.

Two week Tania is not long enough, the end comes too fast. I'm happy you enjoyed your stay, I know you already plotting your return. Don't feel to bad about the road we got unincorporated areas in florida that look like that when it's dry and wet.

When my family travelled back to guyana from jamaica we stop over in Panama,it was beautiful. Copa airlines have a stopover program for persons travelling with them at no additional cost. You just need to find accommodation 😁

If you can go back to Guyana try to make it to Suriname as well. I have lived in both places and as much as you seem to appreciate Guyana, Suriname will be apprecisted as well. Talking about food. After living in 5 countries on three continents, including; Jamaica (yaad), Guyana, Suriname, Switzerland and now the US, plus visiting most of Europe, S. America and the Caribbean, Suriname is amazing.

@@eveblyn the funny thing is that my Surinamese wife learnt Jamaican style cooking from my mother, and she cooks Jamaican 80%. I cook Surinamese every chance I get if I can find the ingredients in Florida. I found frozen pomtayer (uit Suriname) from a Guyanese store for $17/kg and made pom last Thanksgiving dinner. 😀

Tania that is a somewhat new housing scheme you’re in there it appears to be. All those roads will be rehabilitated later on this year. The government plans to rehabilitate over 1,200 roads this year across the entire country 🇬🇾❤️🇬🇾

Short & sweet to my country 🇬🇾,, those roads would be rehabilitated as it is a new housing scheme and as such big ,big truck with building materials that traversing the road in a daily basis as houses are being built to get the area well developed

You can tell she is a decent person....she didn't even say anything bad about the road. As some one that was born there I would be cussing down condition of the roads. Disgraceful and disusing. This is the country everyone is so proud about, and constantly talking about. Thats what they want to bring tourist to see? The government and political parties are fighting each other while giving away the oil to Exxon and thats the state the have the roads in.

If the road have big ponds all over it, how are you going totally ignore it. The only thing she said was that you have to walk out far if you dont have a car.
