I'm off to the Toronto Bonsai Society's Fall Show and Sale tomorrow!
Today I'm doing some final work to prepare my trees.

I have seen them before the show and at the show they all look fantastic. 😍 When I was at the show, I feel the same way that here is our tree there is our tree. It was wonderful.

That was a lot of prep work to get done before the show. Have fun! To bad you couldn’t use your truck to fit the trees in. With a top on the back, still no heating. Plants might have gotten too cold. This will be a fun show for you.

would like to see a "lava land scape" after cooling down, which leaves this big dark stones, its pretty amazing to see it in real life tbh, with a tree on it show the cycle of life n death

It's funny how I feel kind of proud when I see your trees (on video) in the shows when you film the exhibition. Like "Oh look! There is my tree! All by itself, silent and looking good!" even though it's not my tree ^^

Nigel, question about your larch forest. How much moisture do you maintain in the pot?

It gets watered a lot, Larches need water for cooling and to keep them strong!
