I believe that is wax not mold. Mold is white on lipsticks. I’ve had lipsticks do the same thing and were fine.

I have a whole collection of besame lipsticks. The dots are just wax, the formula has either a different wax or more wax which is why they last so long. You can tell when they expire because the scent drastically changes. Hope this helps

The lipstick could have wax bloom that is caused by temperature changes. You can wipe it off. Worth a try.

"Starry Sky" is a pretty shade! Would you consider repressing it into an empty pan to keep using it? As for the lipstick - depending on the formula - wax bloom can also be white crystal-like specks and not fluffy. The one you have still has the color of the product, smooth and quite uniform, so I'm inclined to say it's probably harmless wax bloom. If I'm really concerned about a lipstick then I'll do a quick heat test; crystallized wax will melt easily, whereas mold doesn't really. I hope this helps, and Happy New Year Tash!! That was such a good idea, thanks! I just repressed Starry Sky into an empty pan, I'm so glad I saw your comment before getting rid of the palette! And I think you're right about the wax bloom. I will absolutely do a heat test, thank you!

These days I prefer to watch smaller declutters. The hour long videos of just one category are too much for me. I agree with everyone that that's just wax bloom. Mold would look more fuzzy.
