Yep! I go to university in US as well and my college requires us to take a "Concepts of Fitness" class where we learn about health along with an "activity" class, some of them are just walking whereas others are bowling, scuba diving, rafting, etc.!

I totally agree about majoring in a small major. I am an elementary education major and there are 21 of us graduating in May and we have all had our professors before and we all have had multiple classes together!
