Hey man. Thanks for this information. Do you know of a good way to get twitch chat onto your bars? I want to do this, but want to interact with chat. I really am hoping to have a small device that can get chat, but don't want to have a phone on my bars because I'll be mountain biking

Hey, thanks for sharing your setup in detail! Saw your video where you used the DJI2 and was wondering - Is there a way to connect the Rode Wireless microphones to your DJI when it's charging? Since it only has one USBC port! Or were you running the audio from the microphones separately to the jetson nano and then syncing it up or something?
@PeloTom_
@PeloTom_ Жыл бұрын
Good question! I was running the Rode audio into the nano through a USB sound card. There's no way to charge the djia2 when it's connected to the Rode unfortunately

@@Spuzie hey sorry I got this video mixed up with my DJI action 2 video. If you have the wireless do it all handle for the DJI pocket 2, it has a 3.5mic in Jack. So yes you can charge and use a rode at the same time. My previous comment applies for the DJI action 2 camera

@@PeloTom_ If the microphone is connected directly to Jetson, and the video is captured via RTMP, then the video should be very delayed relative to the sound. Why don't you have a delay? I want to implement exactly this option, but I don't understand how to solve the issue with the delay.

Hey I’m not sure what type of Velcro you’re using, but just thought I’d let you know there’s something called 3m duel lock Velcro which is industrial grade Velcro that you can get on Amazon for super cheap. I found out about it through some guys at my local race track. Basically I was going to put bumper buttons in my bumper so I could swap them out faster if I crash or anything & one of the guys suggested this Velcro which works amazing. Just thought I’d let you know so you could secure your camera safely, I know I’d hate if it fell off or something.

Hey, PeloTom is there a way to have the lightest possible streaming setup for live IRL playing sport. Most streamers or doing some kind of stationary activity or sport that dont require much movement. I would like to know what the best lightest IRL setup for someone playing soccer or basketball without slowing you down too much. So far, I have seen soccer players using the DJI ACTION 3 with a head strap mount and sometimes a chest mount. The phone could be strapped inside the forearm so someone can watch the chat here and there. It would also protect the phone and other people on the field. When playing sports that backpack is not an option I dont know why these brands didn't come up with a small light display only for streaming with network capabilities and all these features etc...
@PeloTom_
@PeloTom_ Жыл бұрын
Hey Ed, that’s a pretty tough use case. Most every setup requires a backpack of some kind to carry the gear. Perhaps you could use a phone or have the camera stationary mounted on the side of the court/field with the backpack next to it instead of having to wear the camera. Either way, you need a stable internet connection and that’s difficult to do in a super lightweight setup such as what you’re describing

Great video. In your earlier video with DJI Action cam, I noticed that your video had 2 views: one facing you and the second pointing to the road ahead (top right portion of the video). Do you think this can be accomplished live using OBS or did you get those done in post? I'm looking to stream from two cameras simultaneously using your setup.

Hi, I have a question, maybe I've missed the part where you mention it. How do you stream your data on screen during the ride? (Watts, Speed, etc) You are doing a super job here Thanks
@PeloTom_
@PeloTom_ 2 жыл бұрын
The gauges are a browser overlay from the online training platform Xert (www.xertonline.com) I have the Xert XBC app loaded on my Hammerhead Karoo 2 head unit. It's connected to my bike sensors, and it relays the data to Xertonline in real time and is displayed by the overlay in OBS. For distance, speed, gradient, and the map overlay I am using the RealtimeIRL app on my Pixel 3XL. If you signup on RealtimeIRL.com you can customize browser overlays to your liking. Hope this helps!

@@PeloTom_ thanks for the reply! so the belabox is used mostly for bonding multiple modems correct? I've seen streamers stream using cellphones and for the most part its still good so I wonder if using the action cam 2 and 1 modem it will be similar.

Hi, this is a great solution, but I have a question. If you connect the camera through the wifi of one of the modems, even if you connect 3 to belabox, you don't depend too much on that modem? I mean, if that modem loses internet signal, even if the other two have, your camera would stop emitting signal, or am I missing something?

No, you don't need internet on the modem to have the camera stay connected to the nano through it. It's all local network traffic

I wanted to achieve motion blur to give my videos a better feeling of speed on the ride. You need to use ND filters to reduce the amount of light hitting the sensor in order to slow the shutter speed and make motion blur possible. Electronic stabilization introduces issues when using ND filters, so I switched to a camera with a mechanical gimbal. This link explains it better than I can: camerabutter.com/blogs/the-camera-butter-reel/nd-filters-and-hypersmooth-the-real-story-and-solution

@PeloTom_
@PeloTom_ 2 жыл бұрын
@@chirush5197 you can connect the x3000 with HDMI cables and a USB capture card to the nano, yes. With regards to motion blur/stability/etc: To my knowledge the x3000 doesn't allow you to manually configure exposure settings that you could possibly use with an ND filter, plus it wouldn't be stabilized if you're looking for that motion blur look
