what beautiful doll, you could put a purplish slide to hold her side frindge in place. love the purple theme with clothes and makeup aswell as the lashes, eyshadow and eye chip colours. wish I had the confident to customise my factory Blythe dolls ❤❤

I love her! Good job! For product - I am using a very diluted Got2BGlued - just about the size of a bean blob and about 1/4 cup water - mixed well and I have in a small squeeze bottle (like travel shampoo size).

I think you did a really good job on your Mini Not Me. The carving looks quite subtle on the face, even the lips which are fuller have a great shape but don't look over done. Really like the eye chips that you used too - I thought that the black ones might look a bit much but they actually really suit her. The main thing that I've noticed with people and their mini mes is that they NEVER look alike.

I love her! I really like her lips. I laughed out loud twice in this video - very rare for me! First was when you refused to spend anymore money on epoxy or supplies on her. Second was "damage control" 😂

Haha, glad I amuse! I'm so happy/relieved that the eyelids turned out okay. It was my first time using nail art stickers on top of nail polish, so I wasn't sure if it'd adhere . I did put sealant over top the lids when done. I had also considered commissioning a mini me but decided not to for similar reasons! And we share the same strategy: If we come across one that bares a resemblance, then that's a sign! Until then, Mini Not Me, it is 🤣

A solution to the large rotary tool might be a smaller nail dremel. It's essentially the same thing but smaller, with a bit less power, and more pointed/precise tips. I've been pretty happy with mine.

Thanks for the rec! This is a fab suggestion, and I had considered getting one briefly. I've held off because I'm not a huge fan of carving in general, but I'm still keeping the the suggestion in my back pocket for if I change my mind!

I also want a mini-me doll. I decided not to commission because it is not fair to ask an artist to "replicate" me and their vision of me may not be how I see myself. I'm just browsing and if a doll looks like me by fluke then it's meant to be. 😂
