I think the point is how much you believe in Portugal's Cancelo and double defence. The problem is that Portugal has two good full-backs + Cancelo who can play on both flanks. There is a lot of uncertainty about who can play or at least a high risk of substitution in the second half. Cancelo plays the last day so you cannot replace him in case of missing a clean sheet. At the moment I have removed it, thus investing in the midfield (9+8+7+7+6.5). This way I don't have to make changes and I'm more flexible with changes in the md2 in case someone disappoints or gets hurt. Just my 2 cents.

@@seanyt4570 We all know he is strong and could score. But let's say he comes on after the 60th minute or is replaced before the 60th and doesn't get a clean sheet but still manages to score. That's 6 goal points + 1 appearance for a total of 7 points. Now let's take a 4.5 or even 4 point defender with a high probability of a clean sheet and who we know will be a starter for more than 60 minutes. If the clean sheet is achieved, it is 1+1+4 or 6 points. One point less than Cancelo who however costs 6 points. And we aren't considering ball recoveries from both sides. Furthermore, Cancelo plays on the last day, so if it were to be a flop he would not be replaceable. After that it's still a game of probability and betting, so I have nothing against Cancelo, in fact it could turn out to be a winning choice

I’m going with limitless MD2 and wc QF. Quite surprised that I haven’t seen anybody going with this strategy. With this strategy you can attack on the teams for example France, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and with some England players you can skip the Denmark fixture.

Yea, limitless MD2 is more about taking players OUT rather than in tho right? Means starting MD1 with a differential team but that's arguably the worst time to do so as we haven't seen any of the teams play

I watched both friendlies. actually like the way he was playing. Managed to have 5 shots in Sweden game (Most along all players). 1goal/1assist. Vs Norway he also was playing really good, Had one good chance stolen by Dolberg. Denmark stats are really good in both games despite people thinking they played bad. Must say Eriksen is my favorite among 7mln bracket after the friendlies.

For me, the biggest difference between 1 or 2 chips in the group stage is gw2 rather then gw1 because gw2 has a lot more cheaper teams with good fixtures which people only using 1 chip can’t capitalise on as much such as Serbia, Czechia, Switzerland, Croatia and Ukraine. It also allows you to correct any mistakes you made such as rotation risks rather then wasting 1 of 2 transfers on getting out someone who only played 10 mins or got injured

Round 1 is played from: 14th.06 to 18th.06. let's say you have: Wirtz, Immobile, Kane, Bruno in your team. they are good captain options and every one of them plays in different day from Round 1. before the deadline for the first match (germany vs scotland) you put Wirtz as your captain. if you are not happy with the points he made, after the match is finished but before the first match of day 2 starts you can change your captain to Immobile. and so on. But: even if you are not happy with Immobile's points and want to change your captain to Wirtz you can't made the captain change because the Germany match is already done.

Maguire and Shaw are both out, so the England clean sheets chance is lower. Trent is worth it tho if he's playing in midfield. He's competing with the likes of Dumfries and T. Hernandez though, and Cancelo if you find the extra .5 I had Pickford/Costa at first, then Pickford/Lunin, but now I am on Dibusz (4m Hungary starter). I don't really care if he concedes as I still have Costa and he enables other attacking players

Why target Albania ??? Albania qualified as top of their group and a lot of their players played in Serie A. Their captain just lifted the Europa League, this team is not cannon fodder. Being in a group of death doesn't mean they're automatically a bad team, if anything Albania could probably be the cause of an upset. A lot of Japanese players played in Bundesliga and guess what, they knocked out Germany in Qatar 2022. Don't underestimate Albania, Andy.

Costa + Casteels is good (portugal and belgium have really good fixtures in all 3), but yeah if a team can get to expensive defenders mids and attackers by having one 4m keeper it's a waste yeah The other reason it's a waste is if one of those two keepers gets a clean sheet then you just wouldn't play the other one so wasted 1m on bench. I'd rather just take a risk on a 4m keeper against another weak team. If they concede so what aa I'd still have Costa/Casteels coming on
