Initial salary of bank PO may be less than yours but after 2-3 years they will surpass you. In bank there is promotion after every 3 years. And till which post can you reach? A bank PO/SO can reach even till the post of MD and CEO or chairman which is the topmost post. Whereas you will never reach topmost post only IPS officers will take the topmost posts. And how much house loan do you get? Bank PO gets 1 cr with simple interest and very low interest rate. Bank PO gets car loans with less interest rate and EMI period upto 15 years due to which even expensive cars also costs less EMI. Whereas you will get EMI period of only 7 years maximum. Your DA increases after 6 months whereas Bank PO's DA increases every 3 months. Pay commission takes place every 10 years whereas bipartite settlement takes place every 5 years. When you retire your salary will be max 2-2.5 lakhs per month whereas a Bank PO's salary will be 3.5-4 lakhs per month during the time of their retirement. Bankers can increase there salary after clearing JAIIB and CAIIB. Does your job has such facility to increase your salary?
