Loving that old cuckoo clock on the back wall just ticking away - just like at my old grandma's house - all the best mate.

Been watching this channel since I was a young teenager, always loved your work, hopefully you get to enjoy the hobby for the rest of your days, the content will be missed. You kept me interested the hobby when I had no time or money to participate in it myself 😊.

Seasons greetings Stewart. Thanks for our (your subscribers) Christmas present in your video. Like you say - it’s my railway, I’ll run what I like! Same as me. And I agree in many ways in returning production of some loco manufacturing back to the UK. It might happen - who knows? Yours is a fantastic layout, and I hope remains for as long as you can. Take care, and trust your back doesn’t give you much grief looking ahead. All the best for 2023!

Hi Hollpoll, very sorry to hear of your continued back pain. I know how it can make everyday life very draining. Getting down to rail level and filming can be particularly difficult. However, if you can manage it, please carry on posting the videos. As you rightly say, there are lots of great youtube channels for model railways, but your layout has got to be one of the most enjoyable to watch. There's something interesting in every shot, and I love watching your trains go by. This Pommie even enjoys the Aussie accent! Best wishes for 2023.

Hi Stewart, wishing you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, sorry to hear that you are still suffering from sciatica, I'm sure if you have any problems with your layout, there must be someone that will be willing to help you out. I really like your videos and attention to detail, and I agree that you should run whatever you like as it's your railway.

Hi Stewart, You are lucky it is only your back that has given up the ghost! I had to have vitrectomy in both eyes due to detached retinas. I can see well enough to operate the layout, but things like soldering are difficult! Thanks for uploading.
@hollpoll2 жыл бұрын
Guess what, I also have had vitrectomy in both eyes too !! But my floaters were due to my extreme short sightedness when I was growing up and kicked in at about sixty years of age and my sight is A1 now. Thanks for watching and commenting always good to hear from fellow model railway enthusiasts, take care all the best for 2023, Stewart

Sorry the op has not cured your problem Stuart , sciatica is painful , luckily mine went after about 18 months but arthritis moves around so we just soldier on , nice show of your layout … like you carnt understand why HORNBY did not bring manufacturing back to Margate .. Late Happy Christmas .. all the best for the New Year

I hope your railway will be kept standing. I'm in need of a pick-me-up, and I believe the one GWR steamy who can do that is City of Truro. My Mum met someone who's got Covid, and she's tested negative so far. I'm staying home to be safe, but it means I have to spend Christmas all alone with no-one to cuddle. Please run City of Truro. She is my beloved steamy daughter, and I don't know what I'd do without seeing her running on your railway.

Hornby must have done some market research like a focus group to get an idea if TT is worth it sure was not worth decades ago when Triang attempted. Maybe with more people living in smaller homes, maybe? Best to stay with OO scale it will take many years of waiting to get a good selection of rolling stock.

Hi Stewart, I am so sorry to hear of your troubles and yes a bad back is the last thing you need to do our hobby but with a super layout like you have I hope you will get many more years of enjoyment from running trains and maybe doing an occasional running session for us. I do so hope that the back will improve and that you will be able to enjoy life a little more. I agree with you the way YT works can make us feel we are not very good at doing videos and we put all our time for free and get little reward but thats how it is and I feel the same so am just going to do far less videos and make them simpler and be happy doing that. I wish you all down there a belated Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year. Cheers Robert.

Thanks Robert I always enjoy your videos too and always impressed how you embraced the latest technologies ! Hope things improve for you over there have a new loco coming from Rails and am wondering if I will ever see it ! Have a good 2023 mate Stewart

Hi there, I think hornby have made a mistake with this TT 120 ,they would have been better off producing a range of HO trains which is more widespread world wide.
@hollpoll2 жыл бұрын
Hornby do own several other companies including Riverossi who manufacture HO models, thanks for taking the time to watch and comment
