MY LDS FRIENDS READ THEIR MISSION CALLS TOGETHER

These are my friends who read their mission calls together from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or the Mormon Church. They are called to be missionaries of the church in different parts of the world despite the Pandemic. The church does not stop calling representatives to proclaim the Restored Gospel because this is an important work for the church invitation for others to come unto Christ.
Some of them are called in the United States, while some are called in Europe, Asia, and mostly Latin America.

The differences between the initial printed version of 1830, to the 1964 edition, the Book of Mormon went through 3,913 more changes. In 1986, LDS President Ezra Taft Benson denied there were any Book of Mormon changes, when he claimed: “Unlike the Bible, which passed through generations of copyists, translators, and corrupt religionists who tampered with the text, the Book of Mormon came from writer to reader in just one inspired step of translation.” (The Book of Mormon-Keystone of Our Religion, Ensign, Nov 1986, p. 4) Changes were made to the Book of Mormon after Joseph Smith changed his doctrine from Monotheism to Polytheism. Here are just a few examples: 1830 original and the edition1837 and subsequent editions: 1830: 1 Nephi 11:18 And he said unto me: Behold, the virgin which thou seest is the mother (of God)after the manner of the flesh. 1837 1 Nephi 11:18 And he said unto me: Behold, the virgin whom thou seest is the mother of( the Son of God,) after the manner of the flesh. also added the words “the Son of” to other verses in the 1837 version: “… And I looked and beheld the Lamb of God, that he was taken by the people; yea, the Everlasting God, was judged of the world …” (I Nephi 11:32, 1830 edition) Became: “… And I looked and beheld the Lamb of God, that he was taken by the people; yea, the son of the Everlasting God, was judged of the world …” (I Nephi 11:32, 1837 edition) And: “… that the Lamb of God is the Eternal Father and the Saviour of the world …” (I Nephi 13:40, 1830 edition) Became: “… that the Lamb of God is the son of the Eternal Father and the Saviour of the world …” (I Nephi 13:40, 1837 edition) People reading the first edition of the Book of Mormon are led to believe that Jesus Christ is, “the Eternal Father” and, “the Everlasting God.” Later versions, where the words, “the son of” were inserted before titles of God, clearly changed the meaning of those verses. The church made changes to the Book of Mormon to soften its racism: 1830 original edition 1981 edition 1830: 2 Nephi 30:6 And then shall they rejoice; for they shall know that it is a blessing unto them from the hand of God; and their scales of darkness shall begin to fall from their eyes; and many generations shall not pass away among them, save they shall be a(white) and a delightsome people. 1981: 2 Nephi 30:6 And then shall they rejoice; for they shall know that it is a blessing unto them from the hand of God; and their scales of darkness shall begin to fall from their eyes; and many generations shall not pass away among them, save they shall be a (pure) and a delightsome people.
