What Lego sets did you buy during the Double Insider Point event?

Some sets you really got to stay on top of. I remember during Insiders week they had the UCS Republic Gunship on sale and it sold out almost immediately. I had the chance to get it but backed out thinking it would go back in stock for Black Friday..... it never did lol. Absolutely gutted on that one since it retired haha. Im back and forth on that Tusken Raider brickhead. I have no issue with the set at all, its just theres other sets to buy haha. Its finally retiring this year and that really hasnt changed my mind. Iv been waiting for a reason to buy it like reaching a price threshold for a GWP but that hasnt happened yet. I guess if I get a gift card or something, Ill pick up if I have money left haha

The thing with Star Wars UCS sets is whilst its disappointing to miss out on sets, they all eventually get remade, next year another UCS Slave-1 is coming, just need Lego to do the Super Star Destroyer again🙂I know what you mean about the Tusken Raider, not the most exciting Brickhead but its quite cheap so grabbed it whilst i could

I got some sets for my sons Christmas Presents. Used the Double points on the Botanical Garden.

Just got myself 2 Mos Eisley at 25% off at John Lewis, along with 2 Jazz Club and 2 Holiday main street. I cannot resist that cute tram and what is more cute than one tram? THREE TRAMS, now thats a cuteness overload!

Oh nice, yeah I saw John Lewis began a sale again today, probably last chance to get the Cantina as Lego looks like they are done. Now you need to motorise the tram, looks great when powered

Nice haul, I love the NES set a very clever build. I have been trying to sell one of my bakery GWP but is not shifting well in the after market, they seem to only be selling for around £15 inc postage now. Surprised as it is quite a high spend to get the GWP in the first place.

Yeah I have noticed the prices are not that high for the bakery, maybe give it a few months, will likely go up in value a bit. So many around at the moment keeps prices low

I bought the Hogwarts Express when Lego was offering 5 x VIP points, which was effectively 20% back in value. I’m still not a Brickheadz convert but appreciate many people do love them and makes for a nice half hour build of an evening after work.

Yeah that's what they did last year I think, if its gone then that's a shame but cant collect everything sadly. That's what i like about Brickheadz, only take a short while to build and each build is rather different

Oh damn yes I keep forgetting that's coming later in November, and its rumoured to have an exclusive GWP too. I may have to wait for it, Black Friday is going to hit my wallet hard I feel🙂

Dont care much for new releases anymore been spending alot of time getting older architecture sets intterests have changed big time im in to completing my architecture collection. Ebay is a good way in doing so . Love the videos

Oh there are so many good older sets that are in many ways superior to the latest sets. Getting harder to get good prices on older sets though as prices keep going up but occasionally can find a really good bargain but not easy. Glad you enjoy my videos🙂

I was one of the lucky ones to snag the Hogwarts Express that was on offer, also grabbed the big Hulkbuster to build the rebrickable version. Was in 2 minds about it knowing it could go on sale but would have hated to miss out on it completely so bit the bullet!

Ahh glad you managed to get it. I really was not prepared for the Hogwarts Express to go on sale, was expecting it to be one of the Black Friday deals. Just hope Smyths reduce it otherwise its a pass at full retail. The US seem to get the Hulkbuster on sale quite often, so I'm hoping as its about to retire, the UK will finally get a significant discount, the MOC is incredible, so much better than the Lego version

Love the nes set. I almost went for it. Only reason I didn’t is that I never owned a nes (I had the snes, and before that the master system). The set itself is great though. I quite like the Christmas set and will get it at some point. Agree with you about Black Friday. I really like the endurance so will get that on day 1. Agree with your strategy for the AT-AT. That set is a must have, just have to be creative about getting the price down 😂

I must admit I'm getting a little nervous about the AT-AT, I'm banking on it going on sale as its seriously wallet busting, even with all my Insider Points, its a huge amount of money, plus there are other retiring sets I'm trying to get too. Not to mention it could just sell out before we even get to Black Friday, I doubt that but you never quite know

@ I know what you mean. I had the same feelings but it’s just such an iconic set for me it was worth it. I’m just glad I could use points etc as there’s no way I could spend the full retail price on it. Am very hopeful for some good deals this year

Here in the U.S. The Hogwart Express is still sold at Walmart. I am hoping it goes on sale during BF. I missed out on buying it as well and don't want to pay full price.

I was banking on it being one of the Black Friday sets, it could well come back but the fact its sold out, doesn't fill me with hope. If that's the case then I wont buy it, not worth the full asking price

It’s a dangerous game to be playing with the AT-AT. It could go on sale, sure. Or it could go the way of the Cantina and sell out for good a month before its official retirement date.

Yeah definitely a little worried I'm going to miss it. If it doesn't go on sale then I will have to have a serious think as its so expensive. The next week or two will be interesting🙂

Haha, always something on my most wanted list. Possibly the Titanic, wasn't to fussed when it came out but over the past few years its really grown on me, just need a bigger house for it😂
