I think every tarot reader should have at least one lenormand deck whatever it may be. And I too love Ciro marchetti. I have the Gilded Tarot deck and it's my favorite I just love it so much I love his artwork and if you go to his website he emails you directly he has artwork that he sells and it's so amazing. And usually that's what resonates with me when I look at a Tarot deck and I see the pictures and I just think I need to have this. And I really do like some of the artwork on the lenormand cards! And thank you for showing all of your collections. I have watched your tarot collection your Oracle collection and now this collection and I really enjoyed it thank you so much

The Alexandre Musruck Lenormand was my very first deck and he has a youtube channel too which is pretty cool and very informative if you are starting out.

I’m watching your wonderful video again. I love my Pixie Lenormand Deck. Just to share a fun off the side bit of info. Did you know Pamela Coleman Smith’s art teacher’s home was in Ipswich, MA? Ipswich isn’t very far from Salem, MA. One of the accused witches hid in Ipswich. That whole coastline area is rich with history.

@@soulshifter1111 Wikipedia has a nice write up on Pamela Coleman Smith. I’m very curious where/how she received her inspiration for her drawings for the ‘Tarot Cards’. I noticed there were hints of England, King Arthur/Joseph of Arimathea, Israel, the Essenes, and Therapeutae in the cards. Do you know anything about Pamela Coleman Smith?

For Lenormand decks, how important is it to have the playing card inset on it? I've noticed that some Lenormand decks have one and some do not.

Hi Lisa, this is a good question. It depends if you read with the playing card association or not. The more modern decks seem to have done away with the playing card part and focus mainly on the Lenormand. It depends on if you are going to read one way, or are you going to read the other way.

It's a brand called "Brilliant" and you can get all kinds of colors online. I also think they sell it at Walmart if you live in the USA.

What is the different of Lenormand from Tarot and Oracle?

Wow Josh...this is a question that needs a whole video on its own to explain! Let me just say that it is a completely different system, with "rules" that have to be learned. Just exploring Lenormand. This might seems like a weird question but when your reading for a person do you automatically pull the gender card to represent the person?

I tend to do mainly the Grand Tableaux spread, so the man and lady cards are automatically in there. But I can say that if you do a spread that has more than 5 cards in it, then pull the gender card according to the sex of the questioner. Always remember to take your Gay and Lesbian customers into account. I have a deck specially for my male-to-male clients (it has two male gender cards in it) or the other way for my female-to-female clients (two female cards). It adds a layer of understanding to your reading.
