Oh my gosh that Ryder's Lenormand!!! Never seen or heard of it before but of course I have Rana George's Lenormand book and deck. I love that her son made his own deck when he was young! That is indeed an amazing find and a wonderful deck to have in your collection!

I’m so fortunate to have found it! I keep looking on eBay to see if it’s popped up there to see what it would go for, because I got such a great deal, but so far I haven’t seen it

This was very enjoyable to watch. Loved the ending! Hold on to the young boy’s cards. They may become very valuable some day!

Ryder's Lenornand deck is a real prize. Rana has 3 boys, I believe, and she taught them all to read Lenornand. She has read the cards since she was a child. It is in the book I have of hers. You can see her on UTube. Amazing find, these cards.

I just found Raina’s book at Half Price Books and I just started reading it! She mentions her boys reading lenormand in the book. How lucky her boys are!

You have some wonderful Lenormand decks Bonnie. I am starting to dip my toe into Lenormand now. I'd like to get the Celtic Lenormand. I do have the Gypsy Witch Fortune Telling cards which I believe are similar to Lenormand so I am working with them a little more at the moment to get familiar. It's exciting. I would love to see more people on KZbin talking about how they use their Lenormand decks specifically - grand tableaux or other etc. Thank you for sharing your decks, it's very helpful. Many blessings for the new year lovely 😊 xx

Emily, sometimes the directness of Lenormand is so refreshing! It’s blunt and no B.S.! I’ll usually pull 3 cards for a daily draw or use 9 cards for something a little more in depth. I’m still working on the Grand Tableau. The Celtic Lenormand is a really good choice for starting your journey with Lenormand! It’s a great value with all of the extra cards and the chunky book! And...the artwork is beautiful 🤩! Wishing you and your family the best of everything for the coming new year and always! ❤️✨

I’ve just started getting interested in Lenormand a couple months ago, and am very new to it. I picked up the Dreaming Way Lenormand for $13 off Amazon! I love the art! I really want the Rustic Roots Lenormand, and the 1889 Lenormand. That Ryder’s Lenormand is so cute! What a truly great find. I’m curious about it as well!
@oldsoulmermaid15434 жыл бұрын
I want those decks as well! The Rustic Lenormand is the one by Melissa Wortherspoon, correct?

I haven't really got into Lenormand. I can only just fit a 3x3 spread on my reading space but the grand tableau is impossible to fit or photograph. Plus learning all the card combination meanings at my age is just one trick too many for this old dog. I do have the Dreaming Way Lenormand (I did have the Dreaming Way Tarot but just let that go as it no longer serves me) which I may keep because it is so tiny and so cute. Another wonderful video, Bonnie. Thank you💜💜💜

I love the directness of Lenormand, but I get that learning another system can seem daunting! I sometimes wonder if there is a limit to what my old brain can hold 🤣!
@barbp27683 жыл бұрын
I like Lenormand and find that it is easier to understand because it’s one picture. I like Rider Waite Smith also, but I have to look deep into the picture and figure out the signs in the drawing. I use the varying decks depending on the ‘mood’ I’m in and drawn to at that particular moment. 🦋

I just ordered this Antiquities deck! I’m so excited I am just getting into Lenormand. I only have tarot but do have a couple of fortune telling style decks. I’m very exited for this though. It speaks to me already . I am getting into the these now because I would really like to be able to clarify my tarot readings.
@oldsoulmermaid15434 жыл бұрын
That’s how I use Lenormand! I use it in conjunction with Tarot. I’m still working my way up to the grand tableau, but am fairly confident with up to 9 cards. You will love the Antiquities deck. The imagery is beautiful and the production value is top notch. I think you’ll get hooked by the directness of Lenormand!

Love your Lenormand collection! My favorite is the Story in Color Lenormand by Kelly Fitzgerald. It’s got amazing cardstock and borderless watercolor renderings that depict the essence of each card beautifully. Have you seen it?
@oldsoulmermaid15434 жыл бұрын
I knew she had one, but I have never seen it! Is it still for sale? Another one I would like to get is Dawn Michelle’s (Boho Tarot) Rusted Lenormand, which I think is available on MPC.
@tarotfortheheathens95564 жыл бұрын
@@oldsoulmermaid1543 it’s now available on makeplayingcards: www.makeplayingcards.com/sell/the-truth-in-story Not the same cardstock though. I think the images are evocative though and the borderlessness helps connect meaning. 😍

@@oldsoulmermaid1543 yes! It’s like a hard STOP! My favorites are the letter, the ring. (because it’s a combo of the heart and the dog), and the key (feels like the sky is opening). 😄

I’ve just learned of this and I’m trying to decide on my first deck. I have collected many tarot decks , but was unaware of Lenormand style
@oldsoulmermaid15433 жыл бұрын
It’s a little more like good old fashioned fortune telling and there are fewer cards to memorize the meanings of, which can be a plus! I would check our Kelly Fitzgerald’s channel The Truth in Story to get you started on Lenormand. Here is a link to the first video in her Lenormand series: kzbin.info/www/bejne/omXHqIyFZtSbe7s

Lenormand is a more direct system with fewer cards...just 36. It sways more into the fortune telling realm.
