For me, training has been a very fun and rewarding journey. As a person who is well into my 30s, I would have thought that it takes a lot to surprise me as it pertains to human nature. But I was wrong. I am the kind of person who loves to teach. I love to see lightbulbs go off for people. I like to see them develop and grow. I'm not a bad person. But sometimes, there are certain people that I wish didn't exist. Some people are just the most rude, grotesque, and nasty humans you can find. Mental children who just merely EXIST in society- they don't contribute or add to anything. Their sole purpose of existence is merely to disrupt the lives of people around them. They don't have goals, they don't have a purpose, they don't have any real rhyme or reason other than wanting people to exist uncomfortably around them. I'm talking about people who you wish that you had access to speak to their very mothers to be able to express what a terrible job they did of creating a human being. I never cease to be amazed at how so many people come to a new job to challenge a training, not want to work, take time off during training despite being told not to, confidently demonstrate their ignorance, and have so much lack of self awareness that they make me cringe every time they speak. They all usually say the same thing. They want to "be entrepreneurs", "start their own business", "build wealth" and a bunch of other shit that ejaculates from people's mouths when they don't know the value of actual hard work. And I have to sit there and smile and say "yay" because a trainer's most difficult job is to maintain composure and be professional, and not be a punching bag somehow when the corporate world is built to defend and keep these kinds of animals employed.

Just got promoted as a PRT in CNX... My struggle is time management, i always worked overtime without pay LOL with EOD'S reports and other admin task... Question is how do you manage your time?
@SpiceRhodes2 жыл бұрын
I can certaintly understand this. I had the same struggle when I was starting. EODs and admin tasks- I do them as I my day goes by in training. EOD reports - I always made sure my email templates with modules for that day were already saved in drafts. If something happens or changes during the day, I add or remove. So by the end of the day, my reports were ready to be sent. Admin tasks - I identified which tasks could be done while my class was doing an activity. You should take advantage of that time within your day so that you won't be swamped with work at the end of your shift. Staying at work for a max of an hour is not bad. But if you start working on those tasks while in class, it will help you lessen the workload at the end of the day and you don't have to spend hours of unpaid overtime. I hope this helps.

I'm actually working under so much pressure now. Like you, I didn't have the experience in teaching people. I'm a Learning Associate II now. I'm an introvert and and it's very overwhelming for me to make our training fun, to the point of thinking of giving up. I guess this is really not for me.

A trainer's job is a very challenging one. I can understand how you feel about as I went through the same hardships like you did. All I had to do was step back and re-assess everything that I was doing. If it was still the kind the job that I wanted in the beginning or maybe I just needed to work some things out and make adjustments. I hope it works out for you whatever yu decides to do.

The coaching training depends on your company's strategy and leadership. The facilitation training inlcudes your stance, professionalism, dresscode, creating creating and following agenda, etc. It basically dependa on what kind of training your company provides.

Which is harder, being a QA or Trainer?
@SpiceRhodes3 жыл бұрын
Both jobs are challenging based on the expectations and scorecard to meet. But from my point of view, I'd say a Trainer's job is more challenging. Trainers wear multiple hats (facilitator, coach/mentor,QA, supervisor and work force).

yesterday I had an interview to work giving support to verifone... but trainer was a kink of jerk... when I introduced myself, he was close to laugh of me because I am foreign guy in this country and my last named seems weird here. Someone even asked something about a schedule and he said... I already told you that.... WTF.. We could found out that the man was gay, and apparently he was focused on a guy next to me ... it was even mean with a girl whose performance was very good, and he asked her if she wrote that before... my English is not perfect, and I been working with tourist for more than one year... at the end of this interview I just said, thank you for having me, but I prefer to go on working as a tourist guide... obviously I want to work for agency travel, but I need to wait for a proper opportunity .
