As a guy who grew up in the northeast, just an hour outside of NYC, I have to say a trip like this is on my bucket list and may be number #1 over all. The beauty that you captured of Southern Utah can’t be expressed in words. It really puts into perspective how beautiful our country is. Praise God for it all! Also, excellent job with this video! The editing and quality is that of a movie! It felt like I was watching it in a theater. Great stuff!

Beautiful scenery. There are a number of canyons that drop into the E Fork from the N and there are walk, scramble exists to the S. The country was painted by Maynard Dixon a century ago & JW Powell and his group entered this on their 2nd trip to the West. With permission from the private land owner, one can proceed W through the slot as it empties into open terrain. There is also a good deal of indigenous remnant in the region. Thanks for the show.

Leave it for those willing to pay the price by backpacking in! There are plenty of over landing and drive up spots out there. Once you open wilderness up to vehicles, it is never the same
@stevenbrewer87883 ай бұрын
Fundamental worldview difference; I believe the planet is here to protect, awe, and enjoy, not simply to explore. Take care of the land, because you will be part of it soon. Cars bringing the masses, and with them there garbage, noise, pollution, general lack of serene wildness. Plenty of over, landing places already, we need more truly wild places.
@stevenbrewer87883 ай бұрын

@stevenbrewer87882 ай бұрын
@@anthonypenalber2237 that’s true, but the bad thing is that it lets anyone and everyone with the time, money and will in, and that changes the fundamental nature of these few wild places. there are plenty of overlanding spots, and too few true wildernesses remaining

I have filmed for travel and tourism of Utah and have been to some incredible places and have had my footage seen around the world….but was inspired watching this. Great job on the filming. Here is a link of some video I recently captured of Castle Valley. Question for you….I have a Subaru Outback Wilderness with 9.5” of clearance and decent all-terrain tires. I didn’t see anything I don’t think it could handle but maybe you did. Do you think it would manage okay? Cheers! Castle Valley: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHS8qJ6aoah2hZosi=SZ8VCF5EcM9Dlhj1
