Hi everyone! In this video I'm sharing a little bit of my Mexican experience - weather, food & people. I've been living in Monterrey for 3 years now and this the first video I've ever filmed about it! There are so many things I wish to share, but I speak slow and videos just become very long :) So I've decided to make more in the future!
Thank you so much for watching, don't be shy to comment!

Back in 1992 I moved here with my parents … Stayed for 2 years because my Dad was doing business there … I met so many cool people and had the time of my life. I’ll be returning next summer.

I used to go to bars/clubs there, but during pandemia they closed a lot of places. Now I only go to a pub to watch stand up sometimes...But I love to walk there, it has European vibe 🙂

Keep them videos coming, though :) I'll be overseas for a couple of months, so anything that reminds me of Mty will be more than welcomed. 🍺 Por cierto, dile a ese puñetas que te lleve a chipinque o Cola de caballo. 🐶🙏🏻👍😁

Vrlo lijepa i korisna prezentacija, za svaku pohvalu! Sad znam malo bolje šta me čeka na ljeto kad dođem dva tjedna u Monterrey :) BTW: pošto ću "gravitirati" oko stadiona BBVA Bancomer, razmišljam da uzmem neki apartman u zone La Pastora/Guadalupe. Po vama je li je ta zona relativno sigurna? Lijep pozdrav iz Rijeke
@valentinasadak
@valentinasadak Жыл бұрын
Pozdrav! Hvala! Guadalupe je ok sto se tice sigurnosti, ali nije bas najljepsi dio Monterreya, ne bih preporucila odsjesti tamo, ali ako ces se kretati oko stadiona bit ce ti blizu, to je jedina prednost. Civiliziraniji i ljepsi dio Mty-a je San Pedro/Chipinque. Probaj naci smjestaj barem u najboljem dijelu Guadalupe, a to stvarno ne znam jer izbjegavam ici tamo, promet je uzasan...Sretno!

You could stay in a place called contry in Monterrey, it is close to the stadium and it is nice there and safe, other equal parts would be in San Pedro garza García, Cumbres in Monterrey, Obispado, Ananuac And San Jerónimo or Colinas de San Jerónimo

Cowboy culture comes from Mexican vaquero culture. So Texas is actually the one who is borrowing from Mexico (not the other way around).

People getting kidnapped and robbed in the richest place in MX?? 😮😮 Scary to hear as a single female. Won't waste my time. Glad I watched your video. None of the other 7-8 I watched mentioned this.

There are many great things here, but insecurity (especially if you come from a safe country where you are totally free) is always there, you can't go (as a foreign woman) wherever and whenever you want...It's not bad as long as you're conscious of that

Just be careful when you say that in centra and southern of Mexico, you feel more mexican and monterrey doesn't feel as much. That means, you try to say that all mexican people are brown and Monterrey is as if it were a city from another country. That can offend a lot of mexican. So, be very careful what you're saying. From the north to the south, West and East of the country, all is Mexico. We are very proud to be mexican and feel mexican in the depths of our souls until death.

We forgive her lol I understand what you meant. It's like saying people in Louisiana vs people in California. Well Louisiana feels like US but those in Cali doesn't feel like US. It's just a change in countries economy and culture. But yeah if I showed a pic of a Cajun person with a banjo from French quarters then said Cali people are different that would be ignorant and offensive lol I'm sure not her intent though lol 😂

You say ‘Mexicans, they come up with a lot of different ways to do crime,’ and you mention robbing and kidnapping. Can you be more specific? As a foreigner casting blame to an entire country, I do not know if this is a prudent declaration,
