Demi you need to work on a 28 bedded ward and change all the duvets on the wards everyday ! it drives you nuts !!! i remember the first day we changed from blankets to duvets and we all the nurses thought it was wonderful then after one week we all were moaning and grumbling and all had backache !! and all ranks we all take turns in doing the beds so it makes it perfect for all , so all of us grumbling very funny really the patients love them ! but we still all have fun making the beds we include the patients too so its a major laugh time of the morning or we try to make it that way ! sorry to go on about it but i thought you might like to know what goes on behind hospital doors ! !

i don’t want to assume whatsoever, but it can be hard to understand anxiety and mental challenges without experiencing first-hand. so for people to “call you out” on “mental health excuses” is so ridiculous. for them, they may not struggle with attending gym sessions, or whatever, but for others (me included) it may be more difficult, it’s sad people undermine and belittle others out of pure ignorance, it appears. i remember whenever i’d start out at a gym i’d be so anxious and it would take weeks for me to “relax” & this included some days where for whatever reason, life happens and i feel far too overwhelmed, exhausted or emotional to make a good session out of the gym. people are far too concerned with the wrong thing😭
