Girlllll, you obviously know I get it! I am so sorry you are going through this, but I wanted to comment on one thing you said. You mentioned backing off treatment and there is always fear around will that make me worse or slide back? That was alway my fear, but I eventually reached a place where my gut instinct to stop was so strong and I always reminded myself that hey guess what, if I slide back I can always go back on treatment! You also said you are open to suggestions- Have you considered herbals at all? I did herbals (the Cowden Protocol specifically) after my two years of abx and it was really helpful. Dr. Eva Sapi has studied the Cowden herbs and they've had greater efficacy than antibiotics in many cases!

Yes you get it! It's funny you said that because that's the protocol I'm looking into for me now! So glad to hear that! Yes after so long we have to listen to what our body is saying.. Thank you for the encouragement!

Thank you for being so real and honest. I don’t know anyone who can relate to what I’m going through, so watching this makes me feel better about all the times I have a breakdown. My husband is compassionate, but you really don’t get it unless you’re going through it. I’ve been on antibiotics for almost a year now and I feel like I’ve made about 20% improvement. This Lyme/Bart has made me have to stop some of my hobbies. One of them is card making. I had an emotional breakdown on Saturday because I couldn’t make my niece a wedding card. Making cards for me is really special, so it crushed me to not be able to do that for her special day. I try to remind myself constantly it won’t always be this way, but when you’ve been in pain for so long with little improvement it’s really hard to not think it will always be this way. I’m a Christian as well, and I know God can heal me; I try to tell myself He has a plan in all this but it’s hard, it’s really hard. I will be praying for you, we will get through this.
