9:44 i'll explain, it took me a while as well to understand the family dynamic So katherine and george have 8 kids: Will, cole, Nathan, Danny, Alex, Jordan, Parker (the girl) and Benny. And then there are two cousins living with them as well: Isaac and Lee cuz I think their dad travels a lot or smth like that. So in conclusion, there are 9 kids living in the house + jackie. :)

Their chemistry and tension is just 💥 (+Alex "issues" are a turn off)

So with the family dynamic, all of the boys are brothers except for two of them who are their cousins living with them because their dad is in the army (not sure where their mom is). And Jackie’s mom, dad, and sister all died in the car accident together. And that was her uncle who broke the news to Jackie (her mom’s brother). He also lives in New York but Jackie didn’t stay with him because he travels for work a lot and also it was in Jackie’s parents will that Jackie would go live with the Walter family if anything happened to her parents. Also; I love you and your mom watching this together. You’re both so beautiful and sweet. And your editing is so funny. ☺️

At the beginning cole comes off as an over confident playboy who seems like hes just making jackie another challenge for himself. But actually cole wasn't alwayslike that until he hurt his leg n couldt play fb n so he thought he had nothing to do n wasted his time hooking up w random girls. When jackie comes he actually has feeling fir her unlike the other girls. And he tries to do a lot gor her. He shows consistency throughout the series and without spoiling he always considerers jackies feelings and asks her how she feels about certain things

So I’m sure sooner or later y’all will be into the team Cole or team Alex debate. Now I do see that Cole and Jackie have a deeper connection and are more meant for each other, however I root for team Alex because Jackie and Cole are another addition to the whole “good girl ends up in love triangle between good guy and bad guy, but ends up with bad guy” trope and I’m just tired of seeing that trope. I understand that people wanna see that trope because it creates a complex and dramatic storyline but at the same time…..what’s the problem with having a show that romanticizes and normalizes the good girl dating the good guy, they’ll have a few issues but they end up working things out? Almost everyone wants to root for the toxic, red flag relationship trope. Both Cole and Alex definitely need some more character development but….I prefer Alex and Jackie.
