@@joannebernard293 What’s wrong with vintage values? Family, community, moral principles, trust, etc. It wasn’t perfect by any means, but many aspects of life were undeniably better then. @@SoloTravelerOffTheBeatenPath I didn't mean to offend anyone, & let me first apologize for that. I am truly sorry for offending you! I really am! But that's just a saying this girl says & what it means is; she loves the style of the 50's just not the restrictions that came with the 50's.. such as only men can do certain things & women could only do certain things. Or silly rules that separated people in the 50's, all bc of race! That is all she means by that. I do understand that is was much safer in many ways in the 50's. In all honesty, I think a lot of todays society could learn a thing or two from the way of life in the 50's, especially when it came to family, community, moral principles, trust, etc... This is all so right . I have childhood memories of 1958 and 1959 in Anaheim California. I recently visited my childhood home . The resident was very accommodating. The joy of standing in the driveway and seeing the vintage kitchen warmed my heart. I actually asked if the 1950’s home was for sale . The feeling I had was a contentment I did not want to leave . This woman is not stuck , she found her soul .

I love seeing this! This was my era. This lovely lady would have been my parents' contemporary. For as lovely as she is, I never saw anyone with a hairdo that was lopsided like that. It's fun to see the fascination younger people have with the 50s. When I was growing up, I had no idea how special it was or that the world would change so drastically that so many people would long for the simpler days. I wish time travel were possible. Some of us want desperately to go back to that era and stay.

@AmericaCirclingTheDrain... I know that the 1950's was not all peaches and creams not everyone lived the nice suburban lifestyle there was the Korean War from 1950 to 53, the department of defense reports that 54,246 American service men and women lost their lives during the Korean War. the civil right movement, segregation, the threat of the cold war where some people were building bomb shelter in their backyard, do you remember the drill "Drop and take cover" when the air riad signal went off, and the birth of a new genre of music called Rock N' Roll that was not wildly acceptable by mainstream adults and felt it was corrupting the youth of America. The economics of the1950's was booming where you could have a single income to live on and a housewife to take care of the kids and do the cleaning and cooking and so forth. I admire this lady for living the American dream that the folks from the 1940's fought for during WW2,

I love the vintage style because it's just so flattering for so many body shapes and so quintessential feminine :) I love the1940s style dresses particularly because they're practical, feminine and beautiful. Also, the quality of vintage clothing (Even newly made vintage inspired clothing) is so good, they're made to wear for years and years and years.

Greetings to Mrs.Laci. Johnny here from So.Cal. I must say; I was so pleasantly surprised to bump into your video. I truly enjoyed watching your interview with Mrs. Hall. You're the 2nd discovery this week, of something related to the 50s for me. I just discovered "Buzz Cason" Mr.Garry Miles, from the group "The Statues." He sings the best Blue velvet, version I've ever heard! I've always said to my 20yr old daughter; we were born to late. She adores the 50s Era memorabilia! Like I do. Jokingly, my co-works here in L.A. always say; comb your hair.

Laci is a wonderful human being but this show took a huge risk in doxing her so hard, even placing her town location in the upper right hand. Then they doubled down by asking her about women's "subjugation." I encourage everyone to pray for Laci her family and their protection. People are crazy these days. We need to be very careful.
