My Little Pony (MLP:FiM) | A True True Friend | Human Version (Animation)

Hey, sorry guys, but I'll probably never finish this. Though, I did say probably, there's still a chance I might come back and finish this animation some day.
Many people are curious about my design choices, and of course they have all right to be! So I'll explain:
Q: Why are they wearing old timey dresses?
A: The first few seasons of the show are heavily reminiscent of late 19th/early 20th century technology and overall historical vibes. Of course, there are modern elements, but I think it's cool to imagine a historically inspired MLP Human version.
Q: How did you choose their race/ethnicity?
A: When designing the main six, I was going by their fur. Since purple is the darkest secondary color, Twilight here has the darkest skin tone for example! Please don't be racist about the designs! I've seen far too many people being downright horrible because I gave a pony a darker skin tone in her human design.

Hi, me again. I don't know when you made this in relation to your YanSim vid, but I just want to point out that your variation with lip flaps to coincide with the words is much, much better compared to some of the things in YanSim. Just a little more practice with the timing and that problem will eventually go away. 0:15-0:22. The walking is very stilted and with the way you have the background scrolling upward, it looks like they're walking down steps or something. I'd suggest a more parallel shot of the room getting smaller so that you get the effect you intended. (I know you wanted to hide rainbow dash until the reveal, but the ceiling to floor shot creates a different resulting effect.) 0:37-0:46. I'd say make the clouds more together than individual. Real clouds (especially storm clouds) clump together and form giant patches of giant sky wool, so individual pieces look awkward, especially with the parting. The frames with Rainbow Dash parting the clouds at 0:47 are a really good example of how the animated clouds would work, so I would suggest trying to base future clouds like that. (I also really, really like the parting clouds frame.) 0:50-1:18. The background of Equestria doesn't match with the characters in the foreground. It's clear that they have different styles, so it creates a visual clash. I'd suggest altering the background slightly with your own edits (like how you did with Equestria during the storm scene) so that it visually fits a little better. I know this is an unfinished piece of work that you may or may not finish, but I still wanted to give constructive criticism cause you can always learn from past works. Again, I don't know when you made this in relation to YanSim, (you mentioned you were working on and off on it, so I don't know if you finished this WIP up after finishing YanSim) but I hope I was still able to help anyway.
