Fun card facks: 1. A trading card filled in the Peewee plot hole better than the actual show 2. A Doctor Whooves card has a code that translated to "BAD WOLF" 3. Starlight Glimmer's Cult is shown to be called "Equalists" like the villains of in Legend of Korra. 4. There's a card for a parallel version of Princess Celestia. 5, There's information on the alternate timelines from the _Cutie Remark._ 6. Lira's human obsession is final hinted to in official content. 7. Smarty Smarty Pants is described as though she's living. 8. Bill Cipher is referenced on a Discord card. 9. Minuette has time altering powers 10. Sweetie Bot is quoted. 11. Keven is named Keven. 12. Tom is confirmed as the Rock sealing away the Mirror Pool. 13. And a straw has its own card.

I never understood the appeal of collectable cards, especially when the artwork on them isn't unique, but it's fun to see people enjoy MLP to this day

i started collecting the mlp ccg around 2015, whenever i went with my older sibling to a hobby store he liked id ask at the counter if they had some packs. i had a derpy deck case too. once i was a bit older, around 2019 i donated everything (which i completely regret) but just last year have been getting back into mlp and have gotten my derpy deck case back with some new additions and a whole new card collection. it's surprising to me that not many people in the community knew about the ccg !!!

Maud resource deck was what I played in MLP CCG during meetups. Back when all it meant to be a brony was you enjoyed the show and wanted to be kind. Great game that was handled medium well.

I've got a sealed box of the first series of trading cards. I think I'll hold onto it for 10 more years so I can get a little more money for it. You know, when the target demographic of the show will have some more money to spend.

Well the target demographic for the show back in like the early 2010s are already like 17 to 24 years of age at this point, so you could technically sell now lol.

As far as I can tell, President of Enterplay LLC, Dean Irwin, lists his experience of being president from 2006 to Oct 2019. Since I see no one taking over as president, I assume that the company is gone.

i remember a long time ago my brothers friend (a former brony) gave me a bunch of his old mlp stuff when i was younger and i received a few of these older trading cards !!

My main issue with the MLP trading cards is that they aren't as artistically focused as I would hope. Yes you have those cards that use contest art but I wish all the mlp trading cards were like that. I mean Hasbro owns wotc, who do mtg, which has plenty of drawn artwork on the cards. It is a bit of a shame that those kind of cards are the exception and not the norm for mlp cards. The Kayou cards are definitely a step up. My previous gripe remains, as Kayou also mainly utilizes official vectors and stills from the show, but they are at least more visually interesting. On top of that, their SCs from more recent sets are beginning to lean more into an artistic focus. The stained glass SCs from their 4th set are definitely my favorites. My hope is they continue leaning into that more! I definitely have a severe need for those cards with fanart in them now...
