I think that it's a business strategy she used after realising that she might have undercharged you for home service cus just like you said, the home service bill she actually told you seemed to only cover her transportation so maybe a fellow hair stylist or loctician told her that she had messed up by undercharging for home service so she thought up a strategy to get 'properly' paid for the home service.
