I wasn't planning on creating this Losar Vlog but when PBS asked to share my Losar Story for their American Portraits series, I was so excited to have an opportunity to represent our Tibetan New Year. I did get emotional towards the end of the video & had to re-record the ending voice-ovee multiple times 🥺 Please give video a 👍 if you enjoyed the video & leave your comments as I love reading them. 💛 Kyikyi

Very good blog. Brief but nice explanation of Losar. Wish you and your family happiness and prosperity in 2021. Please teach Tibetan language to your child. Speaking, reading and writing. You can send your child to Dharamsala during spring break for an immersive learning of Tibetan language and culture.

Thujeche for your kind feedback and encouragement 💛 Yes, I teach my kids Tibetan as best as I can. They're not old enough yet for the immersive program in Dharamshala but we're looking forward to it once they're eligible.
