Nice video great repair As for your sunglasses mm case if you just rehydrate the Canvas with leather conditioner; they might change their mind on doing the repair. The monogram canvas was made to act like leather, so cleaning and conditioning it just as you would leather, I think that would null them from denying the repair because the “canvas is dehydrated “ statement. Just an option to get repair retry.

Wow the canvas are so different! on mine is more chocolate and your letters look more yellow / green . Wonder if the year is why. Beautiful piece!

Thank you 🫶🏾 the difference in the monogram coloring is definitely due to year made. I’ve noticed that my newer pieces aren’t that yellow/green color and a lot of my moms older pieces are the same in color as my trousses

It could also be just built up dust or dirt on the canvas over time. Usually a good cleaning with a soft bristle brush can pull and release any dirt stuck on the canvas. Plenty of KZbin videos available on cleaning Louis Vuitton vintage or dirty monogram canvas on here. 😊

So informative. I tore my lining out because it was so damaged. I don’t think they can repair it as I may have compromised the canvas. But it’s worth a try! My graceful needs new glazing on the strap 😢 so I’ll take that in. Thx for again sis.

They won’t repair it 😢 I did the same thing and they said it was not authentic anymore. They refused to repair it. I now use it as catch all in my closet for hair clips.

Check with Leather Surgeons or Rago Brothers. I have used both for LV and Chanel pieces.

Heyyyy boo! Definitely check out eBay for any of the trousse’s the price is right you can get them under $350 and the repair process was totally worth it. The app is too easy, I’ll definitely be using it again in the future.

I requested a quote, accepted the quote, sent my bag in for repair. 6 weeks later I received an email that my bag was repaired and ready, sent me the invoice, I paid 10 days ago. I received my receipt the same day but 10 days later there is still no tracking and Louis Vuitton keeps saying “tracking to come”. My repair was $1070. At this point I am thinking that lost my bag….i am very frustrated 😩. Glad you had the opposite experience of myself.

I have the Trousseau 28 vintage and it's now sticky inside and out. Not sure what happened. Wonder if they can clean the outside so it's no longer sticky and replace the interior.
