I loved "A Song for Europe," and I thought "Speed 3" was very funny too. But the funniest episode was The Holy Stone of Von Ricker." Holy shit I nearly pissed myself at the end of that one! THE BEST All TIME SCENE OF FATHER TED!!! Every time my dad and I watch this episode, we start singing this song! I love it when I show friends this video for the first time, and then, like two weeks later, I get a call from them asking me what the name of that show with the horse song! I must have given away about twenty complete series box sets as gifts to my friends. It's too bad that the show was never shown here in the US.

TThe writers Aurther and Graham are genious..the slight dig at the simple side of Irish humour...the characters..Pat Mustard is my favourite..even the names..when Mrs Doyle was trying to name the priest who was being evasive and went throuhg a list of the most bizarre names, ithink the eventual name was Todd Unctious? I'm not a native speaker of English, so I googled "fetlocks", I had no idea what that was (I was lead on to believe it was about hair by the "pretty locks in the wind" gesture and imagery haha). I wonder if it is a term that is commonly known, I get it now that it is a joke that father Ted thinks it's about the hair. They don't know the first thing about horses, also "you're a pony no more" as if ponies would grow up to become full size horses is hilarious.
