Hey TOM! the factory probably uses some kind of gutter and drain system (like all sunroofs) to get the water out. Would look at whatever vehicle the rear window came out of to see what parts are missing. Its easier to redirect water than it is to keep it out.

To fix your problem with the window go on the inside and find the main area the water is coming through. Before putting the urethane on try and put some primer of some sort so it can hold better. Also smearing it into smaller areas helps instead of just leaving it blobbed, btw get spray way crazy clean wipes to get the glue off your truck 🤝
