I'm doing something similar, but am just using the dot grid notebook for a "few lines a day" type journal to check in daily on goals. Then I'm going to put in the goal notebooks for weekly and monthly check ins. I tried using a system attached to a planner, but I look at my personal planner at best weekly. I've found with my work routine that it's nice to document the progress I'm making even when I'm not crossing things off the to-do list, so I'm hoping a quick "go me!" and "here's what I'll do better tomorrow" will work as a five minutes before bed routine. So, my folio will be less fat, but hopefully equally beneficial! Can't wait for it to get here!

I ordered both colors and I am psyched for the reflections, intentions and 2022 reflections book. I have some EC notebooks I can add, too. I was going to keep them all together in one. Not sure how I was going to use the second one.

Thanks for sharing this. I checked out the makselife site and looked at their goal planners... I'm curious as to how you are using their goal planner alongside your hobonichi... I have a TN with 2 dot grid notebooks in it for journaling and goals and I'm planning on using that alongside my hobonichi in 2023. Can't wait to set it up! :) But how would you use makselife planners? I feel like it would be too much especially since they look like regular planners set up with monthly/weekly view... Maybe I was expecting a different planner layout... I'm confused... lol... Any advice? :)

This is a pretty old video, I was referencing 2023 as in early 2023. This version has been replaced for 2024.
