I dont think it was particularly nice when mama said that about your house never being clean. I know how comments like this can really affect a person and their anxiety and can really manifest itself. Although it may have not been intended in that way it was harsh and I can tell that struck a cord with you. You do you and you can only do your best

Yea I only speak from experience. My mother in law has ocd and although I was already clean I was constantly criticised, belittled and abused because it wasn't to her standards. I went through horrible depression and its affected me so badly. I kill myself cleaning desperately seeking her approval and now I can't change. I get horrible anxiety when someone comes over just because I have this fear that they'll find something dirty.

I'm sorry but I really need to say this. I don't normally comment on anything BUT Your comments regarding women wearing a scarf during dua times at nikahs, was VERY belittling. So what if they do that out of respect? EVERY SMALL GOOD DEED COUNTS. You of all people are talking about non mehrams when you all have public platforms allowing men to freely look at your pics and videos (including faces full of makeup and dancing and music) day and night. She's also worn a scarf/abaya for her 'Ramadan videos' too and there's times she doesn't cover her head at all..Are non mehrams not looking at her then?..
