Corey, green peppers are high in vitamin C. Potatoes are high in potassium. I googled a list for you. Which vegetables are high in potassium? Leafy greens, beans, nuts, dairy foods, and starchy vegetables like winter squash are rich sources. Dried fruits (raisins, apricots) Beans, lentils. Potatoes. Winter squash (acorn, butternut) Spinach, broccoli. Beet greens. Avocado. Bananas.

Mamaw - you spend plenty of money on the groceries you use to make these videos so they are your gift to all your subscribers! So, the thank you cards you send are enough. Besides,, you might have to spend money for more postage if the little gifts won't fit in a regular envelope with one stamp. Make sure you are keeping up your fluid intake and if you have Vitamin C tablets take one a day since they help to boost your immune system. I had to laugh when you were talking about Milton dumping everything in the pan to cook it. My Pappy would take everything arranged nicely on his plate by my grandmaw and just mix it all together before eating. Didn't matter what it was, he just mashed it all together saying, "Well, it all ends up in the same place so I might as well mash it all together before I eat it."

I follow this and there are some good recipes but I’m curious. A lot of the recipes say “secret” or “famous” but it’s never explained what makes it famous. Is it something the church requests or how about the secret recipes. Never mention a “secret” ingredient so what makes it secret?

I am watching older videos. I love the videos. Margret don’t over do it. I love all the scriptures. I bought me new giant print bible. Corey I agree that sausage ever, I buy it at Sam’s. The brand of flour, we do not have that here. I see White Lily used quite a bit in videos, we do not have that flour either. My daughter seen white lily at HEB store she live in Mansfield,TX. I have never seen that brand of sausage. There's certain brand names of flour and food that you get in your state that we don't get an hour state. We use Jimmy Dean's around here, and that's all we can find except for off-brands. I'm going to double-check and see if I can find this brand of sausage in the stores. You said it's the best. I can't wait to try this recipe. Our family loves canned milk. I've never put it in my eggs unless it is in a casserole. I'm going to have to try that. Does the green bell pepper have more potassium than the red, yellow, and orange? Is that a cast iron skillet with the wooden handle, or is that a nonstick skillet? I can't tell.

We use Swaggerty sausage when we can't find Old Folks sausage here in Texas lol. It's mine and my husband's favorite. I make homemade biscuits like my Granny made and gravy with them. If I make omelets we like ham and cheese with it and we like them for dinner with a salad.
