Margaret, i wanna tell you a story about blood in a steak. When my husband was in the USAF he got stationed in west Germany for one of his bases. When we got over there and his supervisor picked us up to take us to the town that he was stationed, the supervisor took us to a German restaurant to get something to eat. We ordered steaks to be cooked medium well. When they brought them out there was literally blood floating on the plate. I told the lady it needs to be cooked more, she took it back to the kitchen and only a couple minutes had passed and here she came with it. It looked like they wiped the blood off the plate and sent it back to the table. I checked the steak and it was still raw basically (rare)! So i sent it back AGAIN. It was in the kitchen longer this time and it was cooked a little bit more but still really bloody. The waitress told me the cook said..... if cooked anymore, you can put it under your foot and wear it as shoe. So basically, i insulted a German cook. Moral of this story is, girl, I'm with ya about the blood and beef! Thank you for the idea of burger burrito, but I'm gonna try the loose meat version, like you would taco meat and put montreal steak seasoning in it. Thank you for the idea and the prayers. I enjoy a good Club Sandwich filling between two flour tortillas, then grilled in a pan. I add cheese and mustard. It’s like a Lunch Quesadilla. Cut in triangles. Be careful though, the filling is hot.

This recipe would be great for a person on a low carb diet. You can get flour tortillas with only 4 carbs and that is the only carbs you would have. 😊❤

companies like Nestle and the flour company can't support u for numerous reasons: they can't be associated with a religion. They have to remain neutral. They can't support a cooking channel under any circumstances as they would be asked to then support numerous channels...they have to protect the brand that they have cultivated over decades. A lot goes into that. You will never be sponsored by a food company.

In New Mexico, these are called tortilla burgers. We also have taco burgers. Tortilla burgers are made with flour tortillas, and taco burgers are made with corn tortillas. In New Mexico, they almost always have green chile. It's nice to know that you like tortilla burgers, too. Tortilla burritos. There can be absolutely no blood in my meat either. Especially, with hamburger meat, no blood. I don't mind my steak a tiny bit pink. A tiny bit of pink in your steak would be a perfect medium. We sure do love you and your channel.

Hi Mamaw and Corey, On the powdered sour cream. No you don’t add sour cream!!! You can mix the powder to water or milk and stir real good and give it a few minutes. But the results are great, y’all can add it to any recipe that calls for sour cream. Have y’all used it yet? I love the new gown mamaw got!! It’s beautiful!! Beautiful like Mamaw Margaret ❤❤❤

Thanks Deborah, it is actually a dress. Ordered from Roamans Ladies Clothing. I'm kinda embarrassed they thought it was a gown. I tried to get the colors she liked, soft comfortable fabric ect. Maybe she can use it for something. I would think the collar would be uncomfortable for sleep. It's just a simple casual dress. I sent Little Miss a Barbie and Play Set too. I hope she got it. I’ve never seem a burrito made like this, I crumble my ground beef, fry it and add onions then cheese and Salas just before you roll them, I don’t t use lettuce unless you make them smothered. Watched a video on how you can make them more authentic.

Here’s a thought from Texas… we love our burritos and of course we love flour tortillas. But corn tortillas have that special flavor. Heat the corn tortilla and slap that ‘tilla on the flour ‘tilla and filler-up.… tastes good enough to make a jack rabbit slap a bulldog! From Texas to you and yours. Keep on cooking.

We have just started keeping chickens since this last spring. One was taken by one of the snakes. We have now put up a type of fencing around and over the coop to keep the snakes out. We had problems with a skunk getting in for a while which somehow got inside our indoor patio and sprayed one of the dogs, but did not get to chickens or eggs. Then a raccoon got into coop but we caught him before he did any damage. The other night a beautiful but sly red fox was trying to get in and I chased it off. We really have to look out for those chickens. Lots of coyotes howling here but so far none at the coop. Birds of prey since we live on edge of Palo duro canyon, but none seem to be hanging around the coop.

We have a wood stove for heat so me and papaw just go out and start chopping the good old fashioned way lol and we have a generator we turn on for the lights and refrigerator so everything Won’t go bad and so we can cook and thank you so much and God bless you
