It’s a gift to us for you to share your grandma’s recipes with us. But, what a gift you’ve given yourself to have her on video showing you how to make her magic. Dude, you’ll be cooking along side her for years on end! That is the greatest gift of all!!! What a treasure you’ve made for yourself!! I wish I had that ability back in the ‘70’s to capture my grandma making her famous chicken and dumplings or her blackberry cobbler. Or even my aunt when she made her biscuits from scratch. 😳 If only I had thought of this when my mom made her famous fudge or her homemade chili. All I have are memories. You’ve set yours in replay mode for a lifetime and for the lifetime of your kids and so on. Well done!!! Well done indeed!

I live in southern Ohio. My mother was born in Coalwood, WV. So, our family knows firsthand how good West Virginians can cook. I remember one time trying to replicate a recipe my mother used. I measured everything exactly as she had written but the taste wasn't the same. When I asked what I did wrong, she said, "Did you use a measuring spoon or a regular spoon?" I said, "I used a measuring spoon." She said, "I'm from West Virgina, honey. We West Virginians don't fool with measuring spoons much. We use regular teaspoons and tablespoons and our eyeballs." After watching several of your mamaw's videos, I believe that is 100% true. 😁

Yes absolutely my mamaw always says she just eyeballs it lol and the farm fresh eggs and farm raised beef is better than regular store bought and also the secret ingredient that most ppl forget to add is the love it adds that extra kick lol and thank u so much for watching and commenting and God bless you

I just love watching Mamaw cook with love for her family. I was born in Kansas where my Grandma cooked for the family very much like Mamaw. We would also request our favorites that usually came from her garden or home raised pig or cow. Now I live in Guatemala where other people raise my fruits and vegetables and others raise the meat I buy, but I cook with the same love that was taught to me. @@jenniferv618 I lived in Guatemala in the 70's on a 5 year mission tour. I fell in love with the culture and people. Now I'm retired and figured out a way to make it work. I miss good home cooking, which is why I love Mamaw's videos. I can make her recipes here with a few adjustments and my friends think I'm wonderful. It's really Mamaw!

And the garlic bread, I toast, one side of my bread in the oven or toaster oven, then I flip it over to the side that wasn’t toasted and add my butter and garlic and toast that side. Since there’s only two people here it’s quick, and we only use four slices of bread, so I just pop in the toaster oven! And spaghetti always taste better when it’s reheated !!!

I made myself a potted meat sandwich cause I'm feeling bad and can't cook tonight. I got in front of the tv and turned on KZbin and there were two of my favorite people cooking one of my favorite things! Spaghetti! Needless to say my sandwich wasn't as tasty! Lol That looks so good! I know yall really enjoyed that! How blessed to have your own meat! I love lots of onions in mine too. Never used the mushroom sauce but, I definitely will! Thanks for making another delicious meal! Mamaw is so cute saying passeghetti! Just love you guys and God bless! Ps.. I know its costly but, I would love to see some chicken and dumplings. Yep. Pretty much like I make mine. I use Ragu Chunky Garden Veggie. Sauce, a little tomato paste and, pinch of sugar. I add ground beef, onion. I put salt in the water and boil the speghetti. I coat it with olive oil after draining, so it doesn't stick together. I don't mix the speghetti and sauce together. We all prefer different amounts of sauce. But, I think I am going to try it your way mixed together, for lunch for a few days!!❤🙂
