I can tell Corey you love your grandma the way I loved mine ( who was from Tennessee too). She taught me to cook too. I am 62 now and still miss my grandma and grandpa. I called them mawma and papaw too. I know I will see them one day.

I love you, my mom died when I was 27 she was only 52 and I cooked in the kitchen with her all the time when I see you cooking with your son it just makes me so happy I love being in the kitchen and I love cooking with my mom. I lost my mom when I was 20, and she was 52. I miss her today as much as 50 years ago when I lost her. I always said that I didn't get to spend much of my adult life with her. I miss that. God bless your memories of cooking with your mom.

I'll have to try this casserole. I eat cabbage or sauerkraut every single day for its anti-inflammatory properties (since I have an autoimmune disease). I used to have bad indigestion and gut pain almost every day but once I started eating these every day, it got better. In fact, if I ever have any sort of gut pain, just a little sauerkraut makes it go away. I am so happy to have another cabbage recipe to try! God bless y'all for sharing ❤🙏

Love this dish. The recipe I have been using, you cut the cabbage and onion in the baking dish and then put the toppings on and bake. I am going to try the way you did and cook the cabbage and onion first. I think that I like that better. Thank you.
