My Massive Backpack is Better than Your Massive Backpack in Backpack Battles

I didn't expect to say one of my favourite games I've played so far this year is a game about assembling a weaponized backpack but here we are... Welcome to Backpack Battles! An auto battler where you have to assemble a backpack of weapons and survival tools to survive in a 1v1 arena with other players. The goal is simple, win 10 times in 5 deaths or die trying. It plays very similar to Super Auto Pets where synergy is everything. In this episode I do my first ranked and unranked matches, and quickly find out how absurd this game can get. About Backpack Battles:
Prepare your backpack! Buy rare and legendary items and organize them to make powerful builds. Then battle other players with it!
In Backpack Battles, you fight with your backpack full of items. It matters what you buy, and especially how you place it! The smarter you place your items, the stronger you will be!
Items come in different shapes, sizes, prices, and rarities. Combine them into even stronger equipment.
Brew a powerful potion, craft a legendary weapon, or hatch a dragon friend!
You play against real builds of other players. See what they came up with, and counter them.
See how good you are in Ranked mode! Or have a relaxing time in Casual mode.
In both cases, take your time, as there are no timers at all!
Choose a class depending on your play style. Do you want heavy crits or poison damage over time?

Protip: when you mouse over an item and it connects to another with a bright blue sparkly line that means they can combine. If it says 1/2 that means it needs another to combine.

I'm still amazed that Drae, a longtime gamer, doesn't make the connection of blue line = combination possible. The right click for locking in the backpack and reserving in the shop are used almost involuntary, but not understood. That when blue line objects are placed beside each other, there's a new name with 1/1 or 1/2 below, indicating a recipe solution/hint and the solution are marked by an orange line. That the solution changes when one of the ingredients are picked up have an another solution beside the current one. It sometimes feels like Drae either needs new glasses or a bigger monitor to see the details on the screen, perhaps even both. With all the hours Drae uses computers, a specifically made pair of glasses for use at the PC with blue tone filter and adjusted to perform the best possible at the working distance from the screen, because lenses are a very clearly a subpar solution on Drae's vision issues as they doesn't correct for crooked corneas and other adjustments that glasses can cover. I just hope Drae gets a vision checkup in the near future, not because of bad plays but because of the infrequent complaints of not seeing that seems to have increased in several months worth of content releases. I'm not angry at Drae, rather concerned about the eye health that we guys are notorious to neglect like health in general, so I hope there's an ophthalmologist/optometrist visit planned in the near future, which everyone should be doing annually or at least once every two years.

You have to have items in your bag to combine them, if they have lines coming off them it means you can make new items after combat as long as the line is gold. If it is blue then you are missing an item still. Good luck in future battles and enjoy finding new combinations. I will sit here and enjoy watching you play.
