Since you mentioned, Duke’s Business school is quiet reputed, so let’s put a scenario : If a Particular XYZ Univ is quiet reputed and well-k own for its other schools/programs, But one is applying for some other, so what are the chances of accessing or getting access the resources/job portals/career fairs/events,etc which they have.? And is the overall consideration such that, if one Univ is popular, it is considered GOOD in general (no matter which program).

Generally, you have access to the schools recourses at a high level. You may not get access to some specific events but the social currency of the brand will likely carry over to your program.

Hey. Should you share the trusted source for information like : 1. % of students by different majors 2. Class size 3. Male Female 4. Demographics 5. Employment statistics, etc These are very minute details which one needs to pay attention to specifically when changing majors (like me, from a Business to MS). Your insights would be of great help.

Hello! Thanks for the idea. This is so hard to do since there are so many schools and each one has such different offerings. Generally, the website of each school has a good bit of information. Maybe I could do a little series in the future featuring each school 🤔

So while researching and short listing, if one needs to collect data on this for a better informed decision. How can one go about it.? Is there one trusted source.? Universities websites show some information but not every uni and for every course that do that, mostly for flagship courses.

Hello! Yes, the ones you mentioned are great options. It really depends on what you are looking for and it's totally person. At the point I applied, the schools I applied for best fit what I was looking for.

Hi Sudeshna! Yes, some schools have waivers if you have work experience. I would go ahead a study for the gre or gmat though if you have the time because that may allow you to apply to a wider range of schools.

Hi Akshita! Nope, the schools don’t require work experience but it may help to have. I didn’t have any full-time work experience when I was applying.
