Hey Currently train judo 3 times a week for 1 hour 15 minutes per class And boxing 3 times a week for 1 hour per class Kickboxing 3 times a week for 1 hour per class Strength and conditioning 3 times a week for 1 hour per class I dont have acess to a sambo gym in my country so this is what i do is it good enough? Could u make a video 'day in the life of a sambist'

That is a damn good training regiment and will definitely prepare you for combat sambo. I will definitely make a video going through my training as soon as I get back in the gym next month. I’m focusing on recovering those injuries right now. My training at peak looks like 5days a week -1hr boxing -1hr 30mins of BJJ -1hr kickboxing/mma 3days a week strength and conditioning on a push pull legs split. I may adjust this a bit now that there is Sambo in San Antonio but what you are doing is great just ask some of the Judo guys if you can do some Sambo rounds to get the feel of the sport. I’m sure some will be more than happy to help and work with you.

@@t.weber64kg bro really 5 days a week or did u accidentally type that? Cuz most athletes routine in peak are 6 days a week im asking u since im making a schedule similar to urs. Dont need a big reply just yes or no

@@SamboBreakdown sorry I missed this but yes 5 days a week but I typically do something fun that is active and benefits my fighting on Saturday like rock climbing or dancing. I’ll also lift or do some light cardio on Saturday.

One day I intend to do sambô too when my financial situation improves, but I intend to kick off with judo and bit of wrestling too and then get into muay thai to improve the standup part, even because most sambô fighters really have a judo and wrestling background, right? and I know they are very good at it!

Definitely most Sambists outside of Eastern Europe started in Judo or Wrestling. Muay Thai is also great for the stringing portion. That and Judo combined should definitely give a good base for Combat Sambo.
