Thank you! I bought the car brand new last month. But it was standing one year in the dealers showroom. It was built in May 2021. You talk about a Goodyear exhaust? Which model exactly? Never heard about it. I was actually deciding between Fox and Friedrich. Both are good imo.

Did you consider to change the wheel some people find it too thin. I have ordered. a Guardian corsa D slightly flat at the bottom. as I am taller and also seat lowering kit Paco. Mine is grey your is a beautifuk soul red. I feel great condidence that a GT4 owner has gone Miata. I am in portugal and look forward to touring Europe later hope to see more of your Great Videos!

@@hypnotechno thank you! I really like the thin steering wheel. It‘s pretty much comparable to the thin Porsche wheels which I love. But there are people who prefer fat steering wheels like BMW M e.g., which I don‘t like so much.

@@lmartinmiami82 delivery lead time was the main reason. That‘s why I didn‘t even test drive one. And I don‘t like the look and feel of the interior. I drove the old 200 hp GT86 when it came out. Really didn‘t like the engine and powertrain on that car! The new GR86 probably does better…

All production cars have a rev limiter! There are only two questions. 1) At which rev does it kick in? 2) Does it kick in soft (😱🤢🤮) or hard 😃💃🏻🥳

@@benkerley1014 Sure. But it also has a factual basis. 1) replacing the exhaust will not give any "noticeable" increase to the MX-5 engine 2) The MX-5 is not a sports car, what's the point of making "louder", its standard, civilian engine. You might as well put such an exhaust on a Mazda CX-5.

Not quite a standard civilian engine. Mazda completely rebuilt the 2 litre engine with: Larger throttle body and redesigned cold air intake Redesigned head with larger inlet and exhaust ports and light weight exhaust valves Revised Hi lift camshaft Light weight pistons with redesigned combustion chamber Light weight forged con rods Low tension asymmetrical piston rings New stiffer crankshaft with revised counterweights High diffusion injectors Low inertia dual mass flywheel… Just to name some of the differences.

Remember how 30 years ago, atmospheric engines on "civilian" cars produced 100-125 hp per liter This exhaust will not give anything to the MX-5, except for unjustified "noise". I understand when the "loud" exhaust is put on V8 or forced turbo engines. But Mazda is completely different.
