My mother used to make all of her clothes when she was young. She taught me how to sew, but I didn't have half the vision you do! Thank you for sharing with us! ❤

Everything you make is absolutely stunning, I love everything you choose and can tell how much effort is put into every piece! My favorites have to be the 50’s Marilyn Monroe inspired dress (it totally reminded me of Dirty Dancing too) and the organza sleeve dress which is absolutely breathtaking!! Thank you for so much sewing inspo

You're so talented at sewing. I can tell you sew with a lot of patience...Something I'm still trying to master 😂 Do you resize the patterns at all to fit you specifically? 🤍
@ItsMaddieClose2 жыл бұрын
Haha😂 I still find it so hard to be patient when sewing but I’ve definitely gotten better! Sometimes I have to resize the patterns but I always check the measurements before I buy a vintage one as they’re always different❤️

i don't know why, but your video showed up in my KZbin lists - i couldn't sew my way out of a paper bag, but your passion and creativity in all this is oddly captivating lol 🤷♂️ great work!

Yeah, same. Can't sew, love her passion, absolutely no idea whatsoever why her videos started showing up in my feed... but kinda glad they did!

A lot of these look shorter in the back than in the front I would say if you add just a bit more fabric in the back than they will look more even lengthed👌For me I have a bigger booty so I always have to add several more inches in the back for the hems to be even. Very cute overall ! ❤

You are so beautiful, Maddi 🥰 I love your dress. Where I could buy vintage patterns like that?

Your magenta sweater is so beautiful! Where is it from? Or you made it yourself? Thank you for videos, you're inspired me to make my own dresses!

I very much wish I had the skills (I know a skill can be learned), but more so, the patient, to make my own clothing like this!!! 😭 I too, love vintage, and it would be amazing to have one of a kind pieces!!! I tried making a few of my own things in 2021/2022, and while it starts off alright, it very quickly goes bad and I lose patience & the end result comes out horrible😭
