Sadly.. I know a lot of people that don't understand when the sun is HIGH in the sky in the Northern Hemisphere, it is low in the sky in the Southern Hemi..thus creating winter. And Vice versa.

Technically I've always known that seasons are "inverted" in the Land Down Under, but it's still hard for me to wrap my head around it! Each time I see you or any other Australian youtuber talking about winter it takes me a moment to come to terms with what I'm hearing :D My favourite makes were definitely the 'thrift flips'! Not because they are the prettiest of the lot (in that category the rose print Hazel dress wins by a couple of lengths), but because clothing alteration is my main area of interest these days. Personally I vote for more thrift flip videos! (although I realise that with the pandemic still at large thrifting would be much harder). Fingers crossed for springtime makes!

Hi Janelle, I love watching your videos they have also inspired me to get back into sewing. It started with making masks to keep my mind and hands busy during lockdown! Then I came across you 😁 and now I'm starting to make clothes for my 21 year old daughter, I made the sheared top but added thin straps, she loved it so much that she wore it the same day 😆. I've also tried to make patterns from her favourite dress which went well but the trousers are more of a challenge! Thank you from me in England xx❤

I like all your completed items!!! I would say the tube top was the most inspirational, simply because it was one that I could start and complete in one setting, I had all supplies on hand, and it was one that I could do for my daughter as we are currently in summer season...I wish I could share a pic of it here, but maybe I can send to Instagram or Facebook....The only change up I made to mine was to leave about 2-1/2 inches unshirred so that it left a cute flared ruffle effect near the bottom...Thanks for the inspiration!!

I love your me made wardrobe updates, your always so creative with what you make, can't wait to see the cardigan, I ended up ordering a few wools from BWM as I'm practising knitting it takes a bit of time to get into the swing of it. I can also see why you like them so much as they do 200gsm balls for a reasonable price as most places do 100gsm or 50gsm. I ended up getting some of the chilli wool to make a scarfe out of as its a nice pop of colour :) :)

I always love these overview videos :) How many items have you made total? Do you have a goal/plan to get to a certain number?

Thank you so much 🧡 I’m not sure how much I’ve made in total! Maybe at the end of the year I’ll show everything I made, as that could be fun to see! I don’t really have a goal, I just like to make my clothes instead of purchasing them when I can! 😄
