I genuinely think it's mostly rooted in misogyny. They see the clips of Tara partying, having fun, and saying unserious one liners like "I just sit here and look pretty", and because she's a very beautiful girl, they assume that's literally all there is to her and completely dumb her down; Even go as far to slut shame her, call her a "bop" because they're threatened by a confident pretty girl. In reality, Tara is obviously a real human person with many facets and depth to her that you can't completely see in a few viral clips. I think she's very mature in her mindsets, carries a lot of integrity with her values, and is friendly to everyone. Part of that is clear in how emotionally intelligent both Tara and Jake were about their breakup.

Tbh the idea of an influencer, is not a natural human experience. If the interent didn't exist the amount of people you interact with would, be limited to those you know and see in person. I used to be like this, I felt like I needed to be surrounded by people in order to be happy and to me I knew it’s what I “needed” until I realized I freak out when I’m alone because I haven’t fully healed from things and I haven’t allowed myself to sit with emotions. Someone once told me coping mechanisms are a nice way to take a breather but they will never actually allow you to heal from what you need to especially if you keep pushing it away.

I love Tara for multiple reasons but one of the biggest is for how real she is when it comes to her handling life’s situations. People around her are telling her it's not self care to be posting videos online, i think I know what they are trying to say but if you watch Tara's videos... a lot of them are her talking "to herself" technically. This is soooo therapeutic which is similar to journaling except journaling out loud. These are her diaries that sooth her. Just sharing my observation since this can seem unhealthy for those that may be glued to the internet. I agree being "glued" to the internet is not healthy but if you write blogs, create etc then there is a form of creation that may sooth you because you are creating on the internet vs purely reacting to what you see.
